Got to make a judgement call. If we think he's going to split the dressing room by turning on the 'replacements' he has to be barred from NUFC and sold to the highest bidder, or if necessary stick him on gardening leave for the season. If we think he'll get his head down, keep his mouth shut, work well with the new players and for the good of the team, stick with him.

In short, we are relying on Pardew and Carver being able to replace Nolan in the dressing room. Or alternatively signing an inspirational British player.

Will be a step down. I think Nolan despite his flaws was very inspirational, worked well with all of his team mates, coached the young ones, and was good on the mentality side. People will look up to Colo and be inspired by him when things are going well, but there is no-one I really trust for if things are going badly.
