He's having a good game. Thirded, to be honest he does good stuff in every game, but has his poor moments, a bit like Shola really and I don't hate Shola. People just need to accept that he is very inconsistent.
-
Gets up and down the pitch very well, passes the ball well, can properly attack the penalty area and win second balls on the edge well and has a good cross.
-
So lucky to not have been sent of on the first half. Did a Smithesque two footed tackle from the side, slightly behind, totally out of control, totally missed the ball, and he was lucky that the Swansea player dodged the challenge.

Played very well. Only negative is the finishing (but Swansea park the bus very well), and that Tiote is very lucky to be on the pitch.

Definitely the best striker since Shearer. I would argue that the is better than post-2004 Shearer. Also he is the only striker we have ever had who can play up front on his own.

This game is going to be a case of Krul Simpson Taylor Jonas Cabaye Obertan Ba and whoever Pardew deems to be the best fit players around that. -
The North East hardly ever benefits from a postcode lottery. The North East having it doesn't take anything away from other areas and why should we not have it just because others haven't? Is more of a criticism of the NHS and government to be honest. The Sir Bobby Robson foundation can only reach its full potential if it does good for cancer nationally and internationally, but instead bureaucrats could stop this and the money instead is wasted and the likes of Ipswich fans never see any benefit. Give it over man. This is a charity and it was given to the hospital closest to Sir Bobby`s hometown. And why should this not benefit the nation? Its the only kind of machine in the country, i am sure those who really need it will be sent to Newcastle get the scan. Or is that not how it works in the UK? it isn't how it works unfortunately. Only those in the north east will get to use it. Our health service are very slow to invest in new expensive technologies without outside intervention so it will only be of benefit to everyone if the Newcastle example shows that it will reduce cancer deaths by x percent per pound spent which is what I hate about our health service.

Is just a shame that the money raised is all staying in the North East. Hopefully this latest scheme will prove to be successful in the region and persuade other hospital trusts to invest. Otherwise it is just going to be another postcode lottery.

Thought it best to mention this here than elsewhere. I was at the Norwich vs Man City game yesterday. The Gary Speed moment before the match was very emotional and impeccably observed by Norwich fans, but for some reason a Man City steward decided to wade in and stop fans applauding with their hands above their heads.

Unbelievably sad. Hope you rest in peace Gary.

Even in this very game, Rooney, Evra. This was only a light dose of Karma, am hoping for a heavier dose in the future.
-
He was encouraged to bulk up by past regimes which hindered him. He is starting to find his potential when he lost weight, so I can see what Ronaldo is saying.
-
I don't know if it is him or one of his staff, but he is undone the 'bulk up' philosophy of several former managers. Guthrie, Simpson, Taylor, and even Shola have all slimmed down and benefitted from it, and other players that we have brought into the team are of a much slighter build than we would have seen before.
-
He wasn't booked for that, or for pushing the referee.
