If we are more specific, won't all the other clubs latch onto our masterplan?

I think I'm becoming a huge fan of Lovenkrands, if he can keep us his performance against West Brom, I think he can be more important to the team than Obafemi Martins.

Shame he turned Robson down, I'd imagine he could have really improved the team when we were missing Bellamy or Robert.

I know what you mean, but it might simply have been a gesture of goodwill and he may not have asked for the entire remaining value of his contract to be paid up. He makes it sound like he just wanted to play football somewhere, so that may be the case. It is a rarity though. He also wanted to be near Scotland for the birth of his child I think.

At the heat of the moment, his player may think that he was completely in the right, and by going straight to the press and giving an opinion it is a way of aggravating/demoralising a player. Keeping it behind closed doors in the sensible way to go about things, and I'd be pleased if our manager did something like that.

Howard Webb oversaw Liverpool games against Man Utd and Arsenal and Chelsea this season, two wins and a draw and sent off Adebayor and Vidic. Of course, this doesn't mean he's done anything wrong, but in light of him singing a Liverpool anthem I'd be feeling aggrieved if I was an opponent.

Have Howard webb and Mike Dean reffed Liverpool. If they have, they should be banned as well.

I'd play him RW rest of the season, as he's ther only player we've got in that position who seems to want to get involved in and around the box.

Think Agbonlahor/Heskey/Barry will be enough as Milner and Young would potentially get shown up against a team as technically good as Spain, Milner in particular. Luke Young is simply not that good and hasn't even been playing right-back for Villa, although I appreciate that Johnson and Portsmouth are hardly having a great time of it at the back. I dunno, I just think that if there was ever a time to experiment with a bunch of players who know each other very well and see how much of an effect that can have, the time is now.

With the Villa boys being the best English players in the Premier League at the moment, I think it would be an interesting experiment to play all of them.
