  1. Anyone got a screencap of that? Will i get banned if I post it? No
  2. Imagine you were a footballer good enough to play 60% of games for a Top 4 Club, 75% for a Top 10 club, and 100% for a bottom half club. List all the Premier League clubs in the order of preference of who you'd most like to play for (Not strictly which clubs you like the most least, although that may be a factor) Also, give your reasons if you have time. This is a bit tongue in cheek by the way. 1. Newcastle United - obvious reasons 2. Arsenal - good fans, good football, good long term infrastructure, good team mates, good manager 3. Manchester United - Would be scared of Fergie, but would relish the high quality team mates. 4. Liverpool - would enjoy playing alongside Torres and Gerrard in front of some great fans. 5. Chelsea - good players and interesting manager, but would be playing ina poor atmosphere, and I think there would be a personality clash with Lampard and Cole. 6. Everton - Good fans and a well runclub, plus the chance to play with Arteta. 7. Manchester City - Exciting times, and you know the defence won't let you down. 8. Blackburn Rovers - Hughes is a top manager, and I'd enjoy playing with certain players, but not all. 9. Portsmouth - Exciting flair team mates would keep things interesting, won't lose too many games. 10. Aston Villa - Mentally, I think I'd respond best to O'Neill's style of management. 11. Tottenham Hotspur - Good players to play alongside, but cracks and uncertainty are visible. 12. Sunderland - Not the best team, but there is an aura about the place at the moment. 13. Reading - A real comfort zone club 14. Wigan - The chance to play alongside Le Sib, Bramble and Heskey undermined by the worry of struggle. 15. Fulham - So mundane, I couldn't remember them when trying to list all 20 Premiership clubs. 16. Bolton Wanderers - The chance to play alongside Anelka, Diouf and Speed undermined by the worry of struggle. 17. Birmingham City - Not going anywhere, and may go down 18. Middlesbrough - Don't want to get relegated 19. Derby County - Don't want to get relegated 20. West Ham - Filled with destructive influences and the manager is described as distant.
  3. Had a real howler today apparently.
  4. I love it how most clubs upgrade and are still yet decades behind Newcastle United in terms of infrastructure.
  5. Partying it up in Ibiza for a week getting my way with the beautiful ladies if you must know. For what its worth, i for one hope Jol stays. Still full of desperate slags then? Jenas, Robinson and Defoe are all still at Spurs I believe, so yes.
  6. He does say though that he needs to sort out a new contract if that is to happen. He is pretty well paid, so it would need to be a rolling contract if he is to stay in my opinion, but I wouldn't even negotiate until we approach the end of the season given his age.
  7. Player unnamed as of yet has died in a car crash. QPR's game against Burnley is postponed. RIP
  8. The new board have spent £133 million to buy the club, £30 million to service our debt, £5.8m on Barton, £2.9m on Rozehnal, £6m on Smith, £4.2m on Enrique plus if reports are correct, a £2m signing on fee for Geremi. In return, they received £14m from Parker and Dyer. Thus, they have invested about £184 million in the club in a matter of months, making a turnover of less than £20 million in that time. That is ignoring the increase in what was previously a burdening wage bill, and also ignoring ticket deals or price cuts within the stadium that the club seem to be promoting. We can't really expect anything morethis month, although anything we do get would be a very welcome bonus.
  9. Fraid so. Was that an illegal clip like? The equivalent of someone posting a Newcastle World Video.
  10. That is the worst Newcastle kit I have ever seen.

    Up top in a 4-4-2?

I had just come on here solely to say that Smith is the best foil for Owen out of all our strikers, assuming he adopted a similar role for us. It merely depends on whether you think he should play. I think so, as when fit, he is a proven consistent scorer, and was unlucky tonight against one of the best international centre back pairings around.
  12. Can't see a reason why two-time legendary Tottenham Hotspur striker Jurgen Klinnsman would want to manage Spurs either.
  13. United Front is again a bit fascist.
  14. I've formed a new singing group. It is called Taylor27's Zany Brigade, and will be in attendance at one or two away fixtures this season.
  15. I enjoyed Cacapa's debut. I like the way he no-nonsensely powered that speculative ball out for a throw in with his head. The ball must have gone 35 yards without touching the ground. Hope he can do that regularly, because one past problem at Newcastle has been the inability to clear the ball completely out of danger.
  16. Hang on, didn't Spurs have a long term plan to bring one of the most talented young managers in the lower league to the club's academy, with the long term aim of bringing him through the ranks to eventually take over from Jol. Alex Inglethorpe's Premier League management career is about to begin.
  17. I know of a brilliant caretaker who would certainly make Martin Jol lots of money. Glenn Roeder.
  18. From the sounds of things, Spurs hired an unofficial go between, such that they could deny all knowledge if it came out. If true however, Jol could probably resign AND get severance pay.

  20. BBC breaking news has Ramos saying that he has rejected a 'dizzying' offer from Spurs.
