True. Don't think he was outstanding today, like, but it's hard to judge as his partnership with Parker is rubbish.

I loved the first half: a great game to watch. Second half, imo, we were really poor. Martins pisses me off sometimes. Second half he was infuriating: what's the point of laying a ball off to a winger if you can't then be arsed to get into the box? He comes too deep, his first touch is AWFUL 50% of the time, his awareness is shocking at times, he's goes down like a fairy. If he wasn't such an exciting player with a great shot I'd really have a go at him. I was really disappointed with Almaar after all I'd heard about them. They barely turned up in the first half and we had to really play poorly in the second to give them another goal. They looked intimidated quite honestly. Maybe it'll be different at their ground. Having said that once they got the ball down, you can see they can pass it around, good movement from their forwards and a number of good through-balls that could've paid off. We've got to defend better over there. Parker & Butt were a mixed bag for me. For every tackle they won, they gave ball back just as much. I think Parker's problem is this: he works very hard, he's got an excellent football brain but he lacks the ability to pull off more than half of what he wants to do. Lastly, Carr was shit and why did no one give the ball to Duff?

Just a polite round of applause, a quick handshake from Parker, and on with the match. Let's not degrade it, but let's not make a big deal out of it either.

He was wrong about that. he won the world cup. What a crazy time! That's something we'll never forget... http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/6032/huckercupok4.jpg

Tbh, I don't really rate Hleb. And Baptista is just the Brazilian Shola Ameobi.

He was wrong about that.

Fabregash, more like.

Could you possibly be insinuating that Bramble is perhaps not a model professional? Outrageous!
-
I have heard it called the Cathedral, but none of that other shit.
-
The real answer is no, but he's been so disappointingly average and stupid that he seems much worse than he is.
-
I am going, first UEFA match this season. I'm taking my dad, so if we're not up to much I'll hear him moan about it for the rest of the month.

Utterly shit. So many poor performances it's untrue. Boro were fucking hopeless and it was simply a case of breaking down a poor team: something we couldn't do. Dyer was shit, but Martins wasn't far behind. Milner and Zog were both very frustrating. I thought Gooch looked very dodgy at times. Parker was probably our best player, but that's not saying much, tbh. REALLY disappointing, Glen. You must do better against distinctly average teams like this at home.

I'm not sure this phrase means what you think it means.

'Joysuz. Oim so shoit oi even warnta kick moi own ead in.'

Look, mate, you're not going to play for Real Madrid again. You should accept that.
-
I think it looks alright, too, actually. I know that it'll get a sponsor on, but I wish we'd introduce a kit for a season with no sponsor: would look the business, imo.

Good interview. I still think we should only play him next season if we're in utter dire straits.
-
Never liked the look of him in the middle. Yet. Much better on the wing. If he ever does go, I expect plenty £££s.
-
Honestly, I don't think he'd ever seen Gooch before the media starting linking us to him. Even then, he said he wasn't interested.
-
That's what I was thinking. Isn't he auld as fook?
-
Wait. An extended rehabilitation seems to have helped Dyer, so it might be prudent to follow the same course for Owen.

It's beautiful to see them riled about Shearer even now.
-
Good that. You can see Shearer's touch is still about a million times better than any of those lads.
