Sorry, late to catch up on the Howe presser. So he was very cagey and all but confirmed he is not expecting anyone more coming in or if they are they will be loans. However, A few things he mentioned over the past week or so have made me feel he is much more in the dark than I expected. Seems he didn't know much about the Isak transfer, wasn't involved in the talks to sell the club to the player and was only involved once the player got here. He has admitted to concentrating on coaching and not knowing the transfer status of players too. The not being involved at all in the Isak transfer seemed weird but I think it's a natural transition to the new system. Also gives me fools hope we will add another player yet this window!

Would take on loan ahead of no-one else lol. Didn't pull up any trees in Italy last season, played both full back positions, both wings, CM and DM last year lol. If howe fancies I'd take him on loan.

Agree. He has been rumoured to be all in on Arsenal from the start. If Arsenal don't agree a fee I could still see him running his contract down or waiting until January. The house sale could be more pressure to Leicester to let them know he is off regardless and for them to take more money now.

Unless we are really paying over the odds and Ajax can't refuse I don't see why they sell. They are pocketing 80m for Antony. If they don't want to lose him then it's a non starter. We won't however likely be coming in for the first time fresh with Alvarez, if it's true. We will have been talking to club and player for a while.

80m plus 4 more in add ons and Antony on his way for medical tomorrow. That's surely the end of Alvarez to us if we were in for him.
