Exactly this. He doesnt have the killer instinct where we want it. Pretty good hold up play and bringing others into play. Nice passing and has a footballing brain just not killer instinct. He needs to develop and show that more to justify his starting place. He has height and presence so he is going to draw defenders but that is only going to last so long before teams realise he isn't actually much of a threat.

He was garbage at right back continually mis controlling and passing to no one. Was fine there today imo. Manquillo is miles better though.

He is fine. Head wasn't there today against his old club. Agree on the ridiculous wide right position. He will be useful in the most mediocre of ways.

He was also hot at the start of last season. You can tell he will frustrate and miss easy opportunities that some days might cost us. What an upgrade though. Smart player and delighted he is ours.
