U-turn and decided to stay according to Luke Edwards. #BruceEffect.

It's how we usually prefer to do all deals isnt it? If we have the Perez money and labeled "50m" in the bank theres no reason we cant. Plus it means we can cry poverty when it comes to making more signings. "Look, the kitty's empty!" Bingo!

Linked to Marrony, 20 year old Brazilian playing for Vasco da Gama, 31m release clause, listed market value 2m on transfermarkt! 1.75m bid? https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/07/23/do-report-newcastle-could-bid-for-vasco-da-gama-striker-marrony/

Relegation release clause. Will be gone in May.

Bruce feels that while he would like to keep the talented 21 year old, there is strength in depth with highly rated Kyle Scott due on Tyneside, the return of Jack Colback and a reinvigorated Henri Saviet due back from the heartbreak of losing the African Cup of Nations final.

At worst it's a fine, we pay them more compensation. Nowt to get excited about here. That said, at best Charnley is at fault. Lambias to return.
-
Exactly. Hatem came with the same reputation and Hughton did as he was told. Hatem went missing ffs to get the move! Depends whether Bruce handles him like Hatem or Nzogbia. Either way we are fooked.

Luke Edward's to tell us his exclusive "Premier League say No Comment" Then the local rags can tell us the premier league havent even received the papers yet.
-
Baring in mind one of these three is likely Kyle Scott lol
-
The redemption story no one wanted.
-
Was reported to be close to signing (agreeing personal terms) in mid June so could see this one happening. However, now there is room for us to haggle, palace or Watford will likely come straight in at asking price and get him.
-
Saint-maximin would be a potentially amazing player to buy. For us he would flop, be just another thauvin/cabella, fall out with bruce and leave us at a loss. So sign ahead

Not like this regime to renege on promises. Doesn't sound like Ashley FC at all.
-
Ben Davies, Ben Gibson in -> forrins out.

This. Shelvey is fine when motivated but Ki is a much better bet. He can do most of what Shelvey offers when Shelvey is motivated but does so more responsibly. I'd go Longstaff, Hayden and Ki everytime. It all matters not when King Saivet returns.
-
Yeah real shame. Still likely have more of a positive impact than Charlie Fucking Austin.

Thought McNeil was off to Juventus? Imagine leaving Burnley for our dumpster fire - Yeah thats reality. That Rose exclusive is great too. Goes from wanting to make him his first signing to him actually likely signing for PSG, wouldn't work here because of his Sunderland links and maybe if he is available at the end of the window we will make an offer. He is also linked to Juve in the Mirror today. Maybe he will room with McNeil.

Said it before. Best English defender never capped. Just wish he had the comparable management skills.
-
I know he's older now. But he was shite in the few games he played before we flogged him He's done well for himself up there and is a key player. Wouldnt blame him wanting another crack at premier league. Should stay there tbh. Wouldnt be the worst move for competition for Yedlin but wouldnt like be an upgrade which is pointless. Morelos to Frankfurt in that article. Looks like their striker we are linked with us definitely off then. Perish the thought a club could have more than one decent striker. Thought the champ winger we would be after would be Oliver burke given our past interest. Bowen makes alot of sense. Looking for a right winger too.
-
Hopefully Saviet gets some admirers from this tournament. Just not Bruce lol
-
"We’re going to need at least three or four in." Try 6-8. 2x strikers 1x winger 1x CM 1x LB 1x RB
-
Just like bloody Bruce to buy a RWB and play him on the left. Bastard.
-
Not really, McClaren had a good reputation as a coach and actually won something in his career. Bruce is apparently a nice guy and good man manager, seems to have generally good first years at clubs but other than that his pardew levels of atrocious. Pardew at least came with a reputation for his West Ham and Reading sides playing attacking football. God knows that was obviously no guage of what was to come.
