Nah. When he signed on to go there he knew he was getting himself into a try every trick in the book and sell your soul to get yourself to Liverpool. Last minute tactics to get as cheap a deal as possible will have been on the radar.. ..if the window shuts and he is still here. That could be another matter and he might get a wake up call. As of now I expect its pretty much "stick to the plan" and "trust the process".

If they throw in Elliot and we get Jackson/Wissa! At the start 130-140m always seemed to be the logical/realistic area of a deal imo. They have however rightly pissed our higher brass off so I can see the club not wanted to go down that low now.
