We have lost the midfield battle since their changes.
-
Wtf is the ref doing on a break away doing that. Absolute joke.
-
I was going to say the same about nerves. Probably a bit of frustration they can't play the way they want with the weather and #'s game plan.
-
Atrocious weather and # are well organized at the back limiting us and real room to attack centrally, especially to shoot outside the box, which in these conditions is needed. Doubling up on our wingers too. However, we have been pretty poor by our own standards. When our wingers are being (at least) doubled up on maybe we should give them some support OR maybe not try to dribble through 2 /3 players everytime because 9/10 we are losing the ball. Our final ball is generally a bit too late. Langley likes a good half time talk though and we have a very deep bench while # will likely tire. Players just need to be a bit smarter.

I am assuming this has been posted before but I can't believe I have only just discovered this twitter account. https://twitter.com/soccer_slammers/status/1770124952429072484?s=20

The big 6 to our future plans and shortlists...

Jude Smith and Shaun Mavididi both highly rated and missing, that said they might not have been getting games all season! I feel out of the loop.

Make that 6 according to this. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/sunderland-afc/latest-sunderland-afc-news/sunderland-injury-boost-as-six-first-team-players-start-u21s-match-against-newcastle-united-4559264 Don't even recognize half of our team. Newcastle XI: Brown, R. Powell, Charlton, Thompson, Heffernan, J. Miley, Hackett, Stanton, Crossley, Harrison, Diallo Subs: H.Powell, Harris, Palmer, Brayson, Parkinson

Not far off miggy or ASM with the frustration/admiration extremes. He was such a filthy dribbler and electric though. Also a time his pace really set him apart against generally slower defences. Wishing him good health!

Wow. What a turn around. Incredible stuff.

Yikes! Not used to this. Let's go lasses.

Honestly no idea how we go forward this summer. It all looked so positive a year ago but in reality its a monumental task. It's clear we need to upgrade on most of Dummett Ritchie Krafth Lascelles Murphy Burn Almiron Longstaff Then the likes of Wilson, Trippier and Schar are also aging out and need replacing while they are saleable. Then we have the Joelinton situation and real possibility of having to sell Bruno or Isak. Don't rule out ashworth coming in for Gordon too. Throw that together with FFP seemingly handfuffing us and our youth squad a few years away from helping.. man it's a tough one and we are likely going to have to be patient with most of that first list likely remaining at least another year if not more.

Woke something triggered something.. Karen, flower, melt, snowflake something else... Online forum being an online forum. We are fans and like fans we know we are.. Nothing to see here.

Hopefully the start of more cameos. Calls to start the next game are likely a little premature, even if we need burn to get a break. Ease Hall in like this a bit more imo.
-
He should be safe. He deserves another season given this years bad luck. ...however, I'm not 100% confident PiF won't replace him. Provided the next couple of months aren't horrific and he has a good mix of wins/draws with the inevitable losses he should be fine. Likely make or break next year though.

Well we likely can't go down. We almost certainly won't finish in a European place. It's just going to be a go through the motions with lots of "you're playing for your futures comments" didn't make a shred of difference when Howe said that a month ago, doubt it will make a difference again. -

Ultimately too many of our players are just not at the level we need. We have to be ruthless in the summer. But we likely won't because of FFP. -

Better movement, poor ball. Just nothing clicking for us at any area of the pitch. -

Who knows whether he follows instructions/does what Eddie wants in training. Could be a part of it. -
