Can't both teams be given no points. Being rewarded in anyway for that is laughable. Not an abnormal performance for us over the past 3/4 years. The sooner this takeover and transfer window is put to bed the better. Our players look awful. Squad rotation can motivate or disrupt. Our players clearly aren't gelling or showing any ability to create on or off the ball.

With performances like this it is hard to recognize we have any talent at our club. We simply can't be this fucking bad. It's not just lack of confidence. Think he will do well with a run of games and a coach and system that likes him, outside of the premier league. Barely considered him a player for us this year as Rafa clearly never rated him. Wish him all the best though. Think his temperament really cost him his place here more than anything else.

Rarely see the point in just trying to sit back and defend and entire game. An ok performance in the end with good cameos from merino and atsu. Aaron's and Murphy in particular have something there. The former isn't close to being match fit and the latter is looking better each game and looks to be learning. Shelvey had some sublime passes and some shit tackles and lack of tracking back. Same old. Lots of hope we can stay up with glimmers of good performances. Counts for nothing when we aren't picking up any points though. Next two games are important.
