  1. About as bad as it gets, a win to keep Pardew around longer and gain support from Pundits again. Plus the extra time gives him another ready made excuse for our likely hiding at Stoke.
  2. Ameobi wasted his last chance then. What worries me a little bit is that I think the players are actually trying hard to play for Pardew and still suck hard.
  3. We'll lose and that will be the excuse. "I played our first team and our tiredness showed. They rested their players and the freshness gave them an edge. We couldn't compete with that." These excuses can always be predicted ahead of time. You just predict the stupidest least motivational thing a manager can say and Pardew will say it every time. Add in the freak illness. Regardless he will use the above as the reason for our stoke loss too.. "They had an extra day to prepare. We just don't have the squad to compete in the carling cup."
  4. Trying not to be negative about this one but I really can't be bothered with it. I also feel the players will feel the same after getting their full blooded fitting performance for Jonas done on Saturday. I expect we will come out of the blocks with a bit of confidence and soon lose our way. Just too bad we couldn't have shipped Pardew out before this tie. If we win it Pards is literally ironclad until christmas, if we lose pressure might be back on but we are out of the one cup we might have a chance of winning with an actually manager in charge.

    Papiss Cissé

It's never going to be about his ability, he has it. It's the confidence and service that's around him. Hull were so woeful today we won't be afforded as many chances against other teams, not the way we are set up presently.

    Papiss Cissé

Well he didn't and I would dare say none of them did it for colback. Today was about Jonas.
  7. Can't play as a lone striker, but we new that when he signed. Needs space to run into and a target man to play off. Not denying the fact be hasn't even done a lot of basic things right though.
  8. Routledge being watched by Hodgson and likely to get a call up apparently.
  9. Oh this isn't over its just beginning. It's fucking war. Hope these guys aren't too disheartened. Still a shocking result today that will look bad further if we lose away to stoke and get knocked out of the cup by palace.
  10. What's worse is the spin that will now be forced down our throats with our players doing so well amidst adversity. Adversity the team and mainly the tit of a manager created. You can bet they will focus in on the hard atmosphere despite the majority of fans backing the team all game. In reality our fans did the nice thing by backing the team and giving the team it's best chance to win. The best the team could do is scrape a 2-2 draw at home to an absolutely inept hull side.
  11. Fuck off you slimey charlatan. Go celebrate your stay and the fact you were lucky to face one of the worst away performances at sjp.

    Papiss Cissé

f*** off Papiss. Delighted for you though you lovely man. Could it have killed you to wait another week?
  13. Props on the performance. Although clearly Jonas is the inspiration. I'm absolutely gutted. Hull have been utterly horrific all game seriously one of the worst teams I have seen at sjp. Yet the fans are happy with a point. Pardew stays then at least another few games.
  14. Hull doing their best to let us score. They look worse than us cunts.
  15. Hatem is fucking everywhere mingling with our fans. Awesome
  16. Absolutely shitting it that we will pick up a win or draw. Or actually play well.
  17. Ha, made me giggle. I would actually gain some respect for him if he did that. Up to -98. Hogan wave followed by John Cena "you can't see me" then a Ric Flair Strut into the dug out with a WOO!
  18. He would look better with his P45 in his hand.
  19. Some great coverage from the bbc in this article. SackPardew.Com basically the gol to guys for opinions. No wonder Steve wraith and the local journals are raging. More impact in weeks than they have had in years. http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/29254733
  20. TBF more leadership in that statement than he has publicly shown in a long time. Shame it all seems to be coming when the regime he is so comfortable in is under threat. Club captain should be making this kind of comment to be honest . Don't have a problem with the statement. Have a problem with the fact he is is only just showing a visible leadership role now. I'm sure like people say he is great in the dressing room and on the training field with younger players but he has been as gash on the pitch as anyone this year and the end of last.
  21. Standards are dead low at the papers over there. "There's nothing I can do to stop them protesting and don't intend to," added Pardew, who is contracted to the club until 2020. "I hope they give us the chance to win the game. I hope the protest comes quickly and goes quickly. "I'm resigned to how the stadium will be [on Saturday]. People take this as an ego trip. I'm trying be professional in my job. "I signed a contract to be manager for a long time. There have been scenarios when it's been good for me and this isn't. The standards on the pitch aren't to the levels I've had at this club." http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29254733
  22. Would be hilarious is that was true about Bruce and Shearer and he actually brought Hatem back.
  23. Some the shit that's come out his mouth the past day. My god. I actually think he is that fucking stupid and deluded. However it could be interpreted by people that know him less well, that he is making these comments to rile the fans up more so Ashley will have to sack him and give him compo. Protesting fans on "an ego trip" - utterly disgusting. I hope we get so badly obliterated this Saturday he never manages again. I am absolutely seething with rage at the arrogance of this prick. I honestly don't know if I can go on if he gets a win or even draw tmrw. Or worse still Ashley continues to refuse calls to sack him.
  24. I agree, although it should have come sooner. I am so gutted to hear it has since spread, this is truly devastating news. Thoughts going out to Jonas and his family. Whole situation is absolutely heartbreaking. Hope the chemo has cut it out, very worrying the first operation didn't stop the spread. Stay strong Jonas.
