  1. Apart from the injuries. time will tell lol What a frustrating half again. We play with zero confidence, zero creativity it is a HUGE gaping hole in our team.
  2. At least we know for sure that we have the perfect replacement for Saylor.
  3. More than Reading deserve since we scored. We just took our foot off the gas and have absolutely nothing to offer coming forward other than Ritchie.
  4. I like him personally but he is clearly a confidence player. We have far too many that need an arm round the should and constant love from fans and coaches, then playing in a team that plays with confidence. We can't rely on him by the looks of things but he also needs a run of games too.
  5. Lots of new players to integrate into the team and gel but there should be no excuse for these two performances and really the results too. Especially today's. We really can't afford to be waiting until October to be finding our feet. Going to be a long and hard season.
  6. Every game will at least be this hard. We are a target as a bigger club. Its similar to how the likes of Bolton would physically target arsenal. Except we have nothing in terms of offering what arsenal did for talent skill and style of play. Players need a complete mentality change and quickly.
  7. FFS you guys are all fat virgins?.. I have been trolled in private chat yet again..
  8. True. He doesn't hide. Much of the time it's plainly obvious he is there just not giving some shit letting players past him or trudging around sulking. He absolutely has done the opposite though lots of times too, just not consistently enough.
  9. Potentially fantastic news. Will breakout this season if he stays fit.
  10. Citeh fans rate him in the same way liverpool fans do benteke. Great with holding up the ball and bringing players into play. Useless infront of goal and rarely able to change a game via a shot or creating something out of nothing himself. Certainly above the championship and would be happy to sign him but don't know he is what we need.
  11. Was kept out the side when we were crying out for creativity.. finally came in when we had no-one else. Played well and then got dropped a few games later. His injuries hampered his career but there is no doubt he would have contributed here if used when fit, which was a lot of the time. His technical skills and footballing brain was far superior to the majority of the squad, which was clear when he played. The majority of times he did get a chance he impressed me and looked different to any other player we had. I agree with Marmoset in the fact he was no Ben Arfa, but he was clearly better than the majority of players in the team played ahead of him. Can't speak for his attitude in training or around the place but on the pitch more than not he delivered through the middle especially.
  12. Great pickup for brighton IF he stays fit. Main reason spurs are happy to let him leave. Shame I thought it might mean knockaert coming here but I'm sure we have just as good a winger lined up if not.
  13. Definitely slightly odd unless Chancel is off. Can't see him moving to sit on the bench even though it would be nice to have 4 CB's that could step in. Plus it is trolling a promotion rival. Would prefer Grealish if we are pinching anyone from Villa tbh.
  14. We have a reasonable central pool. Diame, Anita, Hayden, Shelvey, Saivet and Colback. Should be easily capable in the Championship and able to boss the midfield. Although, none other than Diame actually add anything offensive through the centre. Could count DeJong and possibly Ayoze and Saivet as attacking mids. Talking about Saivet. What the hell happened. I know Rafa went with premiership experience at the tail end of the season which may have dented his confidence/likewise settling in to the uk might be a problem. Hope he gets some chances and shows and achieves the promise and reputation he had when we bought him. Hopefully he is our squads sleeper that will actually wake up and find his feet. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3397687/Henri-Saivet-signs-Newcastle-4-5m-forward-Bordeaux.html http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/henri-saivet-scouting-report-football-7164243
  15. Alan Shearer and Chris O'Dowd aren't my father's...
  16. Assuming we have bid the release clause they mention in the article. If so could very well happen quickly.
  17. Would be a very nice pick up. Great box to box player. Good pace/power and a decent shot on him.
  18. He is a hero to go elsewhere..it's true..it's true.
  19. And then a Mitro comes along, With the strength to carry on and you cast your fears aside and you know we can survive.
