Full credit to the fans that remain enthusiastic to the team. Maybe they follow blindly, maybe they are just better people than I. I have never been less enthusiastic, plussed or out of love with the club as I am now. A year ago I would have relished this tie. Now every game I am surprised if we perform or get a positive result. Little gets the pulse racing. Still watching but being thousands of miles away and being further separated doesn't help either..at least I could bitch or mourn back home. Just nothing here. Average performance from an average manager. Improved a couple or areas of our game while we look far shitter in too many others. I happy to shift him out, except to say we will get more of the mediocre same from people that don't understand football, what this club is about and more importantly need. Wow, did not know that. That seems stupid. I don't mind having a bit of a limit like 5/6 but its the reserves not a actual youth team. Its there to bring players back from injury (or in our case re-injure them) and give squad members needing game time for fitness minutes. What constitutes being a reserve? Out of 25 first teamers at least 11 of those are likely to be not playing and in need of the playing/fitness run out in the reserves.

We need someone that can and actually will successfully shoot from outside of the box and create something from nothing, whether that is a midfielder or striker I don't care. Sick of the years that have rolled by seeing other teams score stupid goals that win games out of nothing, a lot of the time against us. We have a clear inability or maybe willingness to do that. Maybe its just the way we are set up to play trying to either pass it into the box or cross it from the right wing but when was the last time someone scored a cracker from nowhere for us? Our attacking play feels all too over-thought and unnatural. That said we are staring to come forward much better as an attacking unit. I feel like we are essentially starting to look like we did towards the end of Hughtons reign with Barton there, very Right side heavy and reliant with our attack. And no Tiote doesn't count.

Erm we've lost one of the last 3 and 2 of 5. We didn't lose today I'm obviously aware of that, but he said the excuses are made when we lose lose each game. I have been heartened by performance improvement. - the damage done by previous regimes is deep and a new guy wont change that any quicker unless he has the charisma and motivational skills of a keegan to boost the club, players and city... don't see that person around or interested especially with what we would look for.

Teams making progress as he annoyingly repeatedly tells us when we lose each game. There does have to be a point where good performance or not he has to go if the points don't start coming and continue coming.

Aye. Even so few players gave up imo. Used up our clinical finishing last week unfortunately. Should have been out of sight before the penalty and had chances to bring it level after. The attacking gamble could have gone one way or another..unfortunately it meant conceding the 3rd. I don't mind that though as we went for it.
