    Loïc Remy

All depends on how much we could get him for. If it's much more than 8.5m I just don't think we will do it. He isn't the 20 goal a season striker we really need, just because he won't stay fit enough. I would however welcome him back with open arms. Should certainly be enough for us this season upfront. Then we can make a decision on cisse in January. All assuming he would even entertain the idea of coming back.

Surely still a non starter for ya if he is going to cost 16m or is that clause stuff bollocks? Will surely still have better offers on the table than us. An interesting development none the less...plus a bigger excuse for us to wait it out, rather than signing a striker.
  3. Meh lazy journalism. He is back with Shakhtar and apologized for not coming back sooner.
  4. http://cdn.caughtoffside.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Yango-Newcastle.jpg Unimpressive Haka to watch or thinking.. RB again Alan? http://www.caughtoffside.com/2014/07/26/images-newcastle-united-players-awkwardly-endure-topless-haka-performance-before-friendly-win-in-wellington/?
  5. Looked proper gash like, hardly surprising when he isn't a RB. Disappointed for him, might have made the world cup squad had he stayed put or gone elsewhere.
  6. Haidara did play well to be fair, Gouffran, Colback, etc so so.. was a pedestrian game where we looked in control and composed for the most part, a few defensive lapses aside. Trying to dampen expectation on Aarons and Perez too, because of their age. However, I think most people would have been delighted if that was a first look at two new signings that were say 24 or 25 though. Excited to see their progress and hope they don't get Pardewed like every other batch. Notice in all the talk about the new batch (Aarons, Streete, Satka, Armstrong) there is not a peep about the players he has praised and promoted in the past (Ameobi, Campbell, Ferguson, Bigi, Vuckic, Abeid).
  7. It's Wellington FFs... But quietly happy about that bar potential injuries to Dejong, colo and more worryingly Aaron's. Looked positive, more so than the Sydney game. Big thumbs up to Perez, Aaron's and Armstrong. Satka looked composed, as promoted!
  8. Just said the only thing he doesn't like about friendlies is all the disruptions to the game. Which is course is true but that's what friendlies are the for.
  9. Boner for Perez right now. Dat control and vision!
  10. All credit to the organizers great stuff with the tributes. Classy and touching.
  11. The defender blocked it man, tats why we got a corner Anyone else and its not an issue but Colback gets slated for good defending This. Looks tidy tbf. That's as 9 more dangerous corners than we have seen on 4/5 seasons. Doing things that will make him an automatic starter for pards.. Dangerous times. Looks bog standard with very few redeeming features to me. Had a better game than Anita, god he has been awful with the ball Putting tin hat on, because I'm starting to sound like a colback fanboy.. Was thinking exactly the same thing. Neither have been particularly worthy of much praise, corner taking aside.
  12. Putting himself around a lot. Strong but seems to have a decent touch and turn on him, even this early in preseason.
  13. Fuck me Aaron's! Rapid. Perez look tasty too. Feisty.
  14. Same thing rocka, tidy just makes is sound better lol. Just doing his job without looking like a superstar. Forgot to say though.. Elliot We're gonna need a bigger boat. Actually lets rephrase that as he move and looks like a cruise ship. We need a better back up keeper.

  16. Yeah thats what I was thinking, on crack together by looks of it http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/82/cb/c8/82cbc8bd24caf23aeef100909b8a22a1.jpg
  17. Am I on crack, an hour early or should it not be on Btsports1 now? I'm having a mare.
  18. Thought Roma were sniffing around too. Seemed the most likely destination for him.
  19. Just don't understand why he would have even travelled if he was this close to leaving, let alone looking at the pics where he is all matey with pards.
  20. 8.7m In all honesty though if we got him and Grenier and replaced mapou if he leaves... Might even feel a spark in that empty black and white soul of mine... Right before pardew screws it and gets us relegated.
  21. You'd hope so, but I think our business is done. Still 2-3 players short of where we need to be. Pretty much how I view it as well. Can't see us trying for Lukaku given the price and how much we'd have to sell him for turn a profit. Well smart money is of course on Everton. But West Brom were confident they were getting him back, then he picked Everton. Difference is, we aren't an upgrade like Everton were last year.. No reason why we couldn't try to convince him we are just as attractive an option. He also might want another challenge. One problem..
  22. Ok chuckles everyone knows he won't be sacked bar bottom 5. His comments however just being himself and the club more failure and pressure. Not a hope we will finish top 5/6. Why even say it.
  23. Ok going to stop being mad for a second with yet more baiting quotes. Let's turn this around. So of we dont reach champions league or top 6 that has to be Sackable failure given how strong he feels the squad is, targets are and his quotes, should be hanging himself here. As said, we are an injury to Dejong and Cabella away from total creative shutdown once again. Scary but Unsurprising the club is trying to feed the fans this nonsense about being stronger and in a good place players wise.
