  1. Pretty much waiting for any kind of slip up Id imagine. If he is two minutes late for the team bus they will publish it. Will probably die down after a short while though, and they will let him do his job.
  2. Glad City might actually have a decent crack at closing the gap between them and Manure again. Dont particularly like Sven, he has a lot to prove though and should have that matched with money. He should at least (with money) turn city into a top 6 side. Although the billionaires will be jamming that area with their clubs.
  3. Sky say its Cisse thats signing for West Ham, they are interested in Bellamy also.
  4. Not bad news, albeit I wont see owt from over here, cant see any North American networks showing them.
  5. Like Shak says wouldnt really be trusting someone that just registered. You never know i guess. But you need a bit of crazy mans hope to make the days pass! Gudjohnsen would filling a missing piece between midfield and attack. Seems content at Barca for the moment.
  6. Tournament could have started better for the hosts like. OOPS. Was hoping to get over to Edmonton to see some games, looks unlikely though, cant be arsed for the drive.
  7. they wont have Defoe in there by the start of the season. They wont need him, MJ has been given the nod they are deep in talks with Messi.
  8. Think people are underating Liverpools attack. They have everything for me. Manure have the best Creativity, Spurs are very rounded as are Chelsea. Arsenal are probably the biggest unknown quantity. Add another top striker to our pool and we look completely different, like someone said, Shola really cheapens our attack. I dont think he is that bad, but he is the difference maker.
  9. Im confident we will add another striker to our pool, be it Gudjohnsen, Diouf or Roy of the Rovers. Shola will more than likely sit fifth choice until January. Given Vidukas age and Owen/the clubs injury record another top striker is a must, especially one that can play elsewhere on the pitch. Very realistic signings I would have thought, although im not sure Anelka would move back to you guys from Bolton, the money does usually talk though. Yakubu will more than likely walk from Boro, infact he was last seen running down the M4 with Southgate and Gibson dragging at his ankles.
  10. Shaping up for another great premiership, big money being thrown around in every corner of the premiership. We seem to say it every year, but is this the best year for strike forces in the premiership? Shevchenko, Pizarro, Drogba, Kalou Rooney, Tevez, Smith, Saha, Anderson Bent, Defoe, Berbatov, Keane Viduka, Owen, Martins, Shola Voronin, Kuyt, Torres, Crouch Adebayor, Van Persie, da silva, walcott, bendtner Expect the likes of Man City, West Ham and Pompey to spend big on strikers in the coming weeks too. Even the midtable sides have the odd striker that could slot into a top six side squad.
  11. Manure have consistently produced young talent. That said I really doubt Ferguson is stupid enough to put all his eggs in one basket and rely completely on youth. For now he has a good mixture though. The likes of Evans and Pique will be blooded fully in the manure side this season, if they dont make the grade they will be soon shipped out.
  12. We dont particularly need Quaresma. If we get a big money signing its likely to be a big name playmaker or Center half , imo
  13. Just goes to show, even with the best investment and signings we have made in years, and we will still end up further behind the top four! Good to see Liverpool board are getting the cheque book out at last, if they want to challenge Chelsea and Manure they need to buy big, to top the solid squad they already have.
  14. Why should anyone have to leave, Viduka wont play every game at his age and is missing the start of the season. Owen, if he stays injury free and plays well, will more than likely be off. Shola is Shola Gudjohnsen could fit into our team possibly best in Midfield. So I wouldnt say its a problem if we got him, he hardly seems interested though by all accounts.
  15. Andrade would be around the top class tier of CB we could hope to attract. He is apparently available and has talked about wanting to come to the Premier league before. Ticks all the boxes skills, experience and ability wise. Think a Hyppia or Campbell is sorely needed though, we lack solid premiership experience. Even if we were to buy a big name, top draw CB, they would need time to bed into the premiership. Really hoping we are in for Beye though. If we have the money why not just try and buy Bridge and Baines. The latter still has alot to learn and Bridge is as consistent as injuring himself as he is playing well. They can also both cover the Wing if we are desperate.
  16. Well it wont be any better if he comes here, remember the premiership is going to see a new Celestine Babayaro next year...
  17. Well we do have "Ron" Geremi's now!
  18. Cant Big Sam attract Dicks? Dicks could certainly show Fanni a few things.

    Queudrue?

Was excellent for Boro, gone swiftly downhill since. Heart says decent backup and better than baba, head bitch slaps me and says we should be looking alot higher even for backup.
  20. From what anyone has seen of him has said, he sounds like he new Gooch. Worse than our man Ramage though? I think not.
  21. Think we will sign at least another CB, plus Beye with a bit of luck, should easily push Ramage down to fifth choice, if not lower.
  22. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=475232&CPID=8&clid=4&lid=&title=Hangeland+keen+on+Toon+switch Using us for leverage for a move to the premiership? Looks like a defenders Peter Crouch. Maybe Big Sam actually wants him.
  23. Dont think it helped Carr or Baba not having any competition. Doesnt matter who you are, you will become lazier if there is no competition for your place. Either guy could do what the hell they wanted within reason. Its like starting a new job, steering clear of the internet, then after a month you find you can go on the internet without anyone knowing. Work gradually slides downhill. If we dont get any decent offers im not opposed to keeping them and see if they work any better when they arent first choice. Provided they are managed the right way, it should be a good thing.
  24. Works the other way aswell. Why the hell should we want to pay for him whilst he is injured. He is Barca's problem at the moment. There are plenty of other players that can do a similar job so we arent desperate for him. Id hope we play hard ball, waiting until January is the smart thing to do. Like most clubs are doing with Owen. Doesnt mean we can strike a gentlemans agreement with the player, then if he is back to his best come January we can get him. As for the Iceman, he could fit in our side in midfield or upfront like you say. Would be a great purchase wouldnt affect the strikers at the club too much either. Carroll will go out on loan, Viduka will miss the start of the season and wont play every match anyways. Then you can bet one of Shola, Martins or Owen will be injured.
  25. How long before we see "Sams not fanni-ng about" in the tabloids.
