They brought in two strikers in January didnt they? They both had worse resumes than what we had and never looked like starters. If we had bought two upgrade strikers instead I wonder if we would be a couple of place higher.

Trailing at the break 0-1 45 minutes to try and save the season.

Do we have an young CBs coming through? We got a bunch after the takeover but they have kind of fizzled havent they? Maybe Alex Murphy finally gets a look in? Probably not. Been pretty clear we are after another young CB so we will bring someone in there. Thats a Lascalles/Krafth replacement though as 5th choice. -

"What ever happened to the popular peoples front of hotspur?" "He's over there.."

Not convinced the players care. It wont be De Zerbi or the players that save them but West Ham.

Toxic manager for a toxic club. Perfect choice.

Football we used to know is dead. Its get on the imperialist train or stay happy with mid prem or lower for life. You need to money-ball, shady deals, treat staff and fans like commodities and fuck the community aspect of football, unless its beneficial financially, then you can play ball and appear genuine. Its why I am enjoying grass roots and the league building over here. The professional game is still ultimately guided by the same tropes as the market is dictated by it though. Its nice to have genuine people wanting to grow the sport not line pockets though.

Why on earth did they wait until now lol I assume someone will come straight in tomorrow and have the week. This is really madness. Get it together West Ham!

A season of frustration. Ridiculous we havent gone all out to walk this league and brought better players in. Is next season still 2 or 3 promoted? Or back to 1? We have likely blown this one.
-
Is there a job role for that? Seems like they have moved him to a generic named role thats less impactful. Might not be all bad lol "Good news you are getting a promotion" "What does that job entail?" "Umm.. we will get back to you. Keep checking your email."
-
I think it frustration with feeling how close we are but inevitably also so far away. Its going to take time but a bit more communication and proactively from PIF and the top brass wouldn't go a miss to boost peoples trust. The media are going to pick that apart and unnerve us, its what they do best. I still think we are inevitable but things have moved slower off the pitch than we would all have hoped to try and bridge the financial gap. The cup win has taken a lot of my tension away, maybe too much sometimes! Its the small missed opportunities whether thats in the transfer market, on pitch silly results and performances or sponsorship deals etc. That are annoying.

Almost a guarantee, once he does part ways with us, that we wont get anyone with his level of class and humility.
-
He should do. Its part of the issue. There has been less time at the training ground doing what he loves but also less time for him to stop and try to adapt. Especially since January. Its been mental schedule. International break is coming at a good time, just a shame we couldn't get a result to help going into it.
-
Dont worry, a few more weeks of fan toxicity and it will be out of our hands. Stavely will takeover spurs and poach Eddie there.
-
He is and has been since signing a luxury player that doesn't really fit with how we want to play. He is the only player that seems capable of creating something out of nothing though if he has space. Find him very similar to Wolt in relation to an opportunity signing that we didnt really have a plan for and hoped they would adapt against their main skill set.

West ham have the tougher fixtures. Dont see them catching spuds. Its tight though.
-
I think 3 of that list will go. Gordon, Tino and one of Bruno/Tonali. The latter imo. We wont sell both. We will keep the rest for the time being imo.
-
Great header. Needed a pick me up lol

Curse of taking the #9 tbh. Shouldn't have touched it, like the ball when he comes on.

Without Europe we are going to find ourselves in a situation with having a shit ton of money and hard to find players that will come and not pick rival teams in the top 8. We will have money to even match wages but we wont want to change our wage structure. In this scenario the likes of Delap, players that have stalled will be our business alongside relying on Wilson and scouts finding gems. I also think in this potential scenario we will absolutely try for bringing Elliot Anderson back, maybe even with returning Elanga if they will take him. We will want a positive story, whether Eddie stays or not and he is one of the few that would actually consider the return over going to Manure or others. Think we will want him as a marquee signing even at inflated cost.
-
Another set of problems is how badly this season has been fucked in terms of missed opportunity. Manure are now firmly back in a good position and if spuds stay up (looking most likely) they will be all out with money competing for players and a top class manager. We had a chance to try and bridge a gap slightly but now we are behind with key players likely to be sold. Liverpool and Chelsea have been shite too. We have picked the worst year to find an innate mental ability to throw away leads while simultaneously regress in the basic footballing attributes.

One of the few players with legit football IQ that we have. We should be building around him.

Howay the lasses. I know I am asking for too much but..give us some dignity back today please.
