Must be a great feeling born in Barcelona and being a supporter of that club - your issues aren't, why the fuck is Willo still here and why does Shola get a go and Pards' tactical gaffs, its more how many fucking trophies can we win this year? Should the others even show up to this?

good idea actually You could totally picture the scenario that Joey has already told him how much he enjoyed it here, SJP and the supporters. He's not exactly a tight-lipped person who wouldn't mention the sort. But more importantly, you could also totally picture the scenario that Joey would tweet some thinly veiled reference to some obscure book he read that somehow equated to us signing Remy or something and after he hit Send, he'd be sitting around thinking he's a f***ing genius.

I actually trust Graham Carr to identify good talent as well.

Had clicked the link to the board, but got busy - came back and saw "in Newcastle..." said "holy fuck" slammed F5 and "..is in Morocco.." This fucking board man

Looks short of games like many have said on here. He has a good first touch and likes a dribble. His pace and acceleration is frightening though.

You're critique of my post is spot on. I'm not saying those are the concrete lads that should have been kept, I'm saying those lads are decent squad players who if left, should have been replaced with well- what you mentioned in your post you're post is fantastic. I just thought it needed to be said how poorly our board plans for squad depth, why was obvious to all of course.

He's clearly better than some players we have at our club based on actual performances.
-
What an absolute f*** you to our top players that. I know we all are reading that literally, but seriously - if one of my mates had said that after joining a new company or something I'd be p*ssed off with him.

Same as, I have grave concerns but I haven't thrown in the towel yet looking at the bigger picture Taking a few steps back, I'll agree with that. I put a ton of blame on the board mind you, for their absolute mess of a summer transfer window. We needed some feel-good kick on signings and we ended up with Anita, Bigi and Roman, on top of letting Best and Guthrie go. They hung Pards, the staff, the players, and us out to dry on a gamble and it failed. On top of that, Pards and co haven't done themselves any favors from a performance stand point either.

Shambolic ownership and board. Disgraceful. We should have 100% kept Leon Best, Danny Guthrie, and Wayne Routledge (I know Guthrie left on his own b/c he wanted first team football). But the fact that we've sold squad players and tried to graduate the youth players too early is a disgraceful decision by the club. Best, Guthrie, Forster, and Wayne Routledge could have all been vital to our squad. We haven't had squad depth in ages, and every time something happens to us via injuries or suspensions, we've struggled b/c we've lacked adequate depth. The players listed above aren't exactly world class players who should be commanded first team places, but they'd provide experience and some unique quality/talent. I think of today's starting 11 and in that you replace Best for Shola, Routledge for Sammy, Guthrie for Mehdi, and you've got a team that could grind out a result. I've always said we should be buying solid Championship players who actually have some talent to fill in some depth for our squads, or decent PL players who would love to play for a club like us and be a member of the squad. You could pick out a player or 2 from each of the "smaller" clubs and see a few that would cost us little and prove to be key squad players. But our board, are just f***ing so incredibly cheap and lack ambition - b/c they love to take gambles on young lads who have only cut their teeth in reserve fixtures or youth matches. Funny that we sign a player like Bigi from a lower league who is at the right age and he looks miles ahead of others b/c he's had real first team experience.

I've always defended him, and I'll stand up and say the last 2 matches from him have been the last draw for me. Today was a disgrace - even though the ref made a horrible call on giving him another yellow, getting sent off was fucking disgraceful.
-
I think even the "defenders" were giving him a chance to turn it round after last season. Think those numbers are dwindling. I was a defender of his and I'm really losing my patience with him now.
-
Needs a loan spell and first team football. The same goes with Mehdi and Shane. Sadly we haven't the depth for this and it's a shame b/c these are young kids with talent.

Disgrace by the player. Cheat.

Whoever is commentating on this match for Fox+ is fucking awful. Couldn't have more hatred for Newcastle United. My goodness its annoying.

Was thinking this exact thing in the morning.

With the amount of chances the creative players will carve out for him, he'll score a boatload of goals at Chelsea.

Cisse smashed them on his own last season. Ba managed to rocket the crossbar off that low corner too. Mixed feelings on him, absolutely loved him in his time here but the way he's been fucking about in terms of his central position and his contract has left a sour taste in my mouth. He then goes and leaves before the end of the season which is even more annoying to me. Wish him well in family and life but not on the pitch. He's an ex-player who went to another PL club. Had he gone abroad, I'd be less arsed about it all.

I had lost a new pair of Ray Bans over the weekend...got a call that they were found. Then read this thread title. Awesome chain of events.

Cause we are in a relegation battle? Didn't stop Debuchy. Because he sees a fuck load of French speaking players of genuine quality that he could possibly get on real well with? He's got confidence in his ability to help turn things around? Optimism? Character? FFS
