I was born in Tampa and lived in Orlando the past 10 years. Regarding Orlando -- The central business districr downtown and th neighborhoods surrounding are really great places to live, work and play. Although the attractions area is a bit crazy, it's massively essential to this city, county and state. We should be so lucky to have a major demand generating business/area of town that attracts an array of local and foreign tourists who add to our diverse area -- on top that the attractions business is a great source of jobs and employment for the people of Central Florida. I really love living here and enjoy it. Ouch. Nah I think Ronaldo's probably a chill dude in real life. Ron's an awesome guy.

As his nation could be entering a playoff to get into the World Cup. Idiot.

Class asset for that goal man. That kid could absolutely be something in his career. Has something special to his style of play.

Certain areas are class tbf Overblown stereotypes thrown about by people in this thread Florida is a super relaxed and very good state man. Sun, beaches, natural beautiful bodies of water surrounding the state and a really class diverse population.

Florida is fucking class, I was born here and lived here my whole life. The heat can get a little crazy, like the fact that its about 100 degrees in my car right now, but regardless - its awesome. Luca just trying to steam roll my state so cold!

Baresi just said we had beautiful stadium and great fans. Damn that's awesome Honestly, what a brilliant team to be playing in a charity match man. Really speaks volumes for the man that is Stevie Harper.

Great read on why this blogger regards Phil Lahm as Germany's best player: http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/worldcupcentral/id/589?cc=5901

If approached by the right new owner (if/when that ever happens) you get the sense he'd listen and strongly consider it. Also love how he always refers to Ashley and co. as custodians and the not club. My same feelings exactly.
-
He's clearly a later bloomer in terms of talents and he's much better than the USL, evidenced by just destroying it last night

My Dad randomly has shares in Sheffield United from 2001 so he got a letter about this t'other day. Why not us? Makes me think a passionate person with a good story to tell about the club, city, and fans could get a rich guy to buy us. That article made something very difficult look easy as f*** Keegan needs to take a trip to the Middle East and get a deal done...

That would be class if it happened.

The main difference between then and now is that the Magpie Group had an alternative potential owner to get behind and their champion was John Hall. We don't have a John Hall to get behind. The closest we got was "Two-Bob" Barry Moat who the banks wouldn't accept as a potential owner without guarantees from Ashley Personally think a modern day Magpie Group would be something that had a Keegan/Shearer involved with a Sir John type person and they were actively looking to help bring in other high net worth local buyers OR bring in a partner from overseas who bought into the vision and had honest ambitious plans for the club involving Sir John/Keegan/etc to be part of the Board/Chairman/Manager whatever... I've sort of maintained the position the last year or so that although Keegan would be my favorite type of manager, I'd rather he be involved with the overall vision and make-up of the club so that he would be part of our future as he dares to dream and has always been grateful for the supporters. Hell if that meant he came back as manager and no matter what happened would become a board-level person when his time was up - happy with that too.

I upgraded our Dish when we moved for NBC Sports, but BeIn was a massive surprise. Made up. Yeah at least we can get some league cup matches & for me, USA away qualifiers, also we get La Liga action on this right? Class stuff. U-Verse continues to impress me man.
-
Listen to the first few minutes of Sir John Hall and Keegan and its just a bit more damning and painful how far we've fallen....Keegan's talk of being privaleged to have the job and reinvesting the supporters money thats been put into the club...ah man.
-
BeIn now on Uverse? Yessss. Wish I knew this last night.

The club's attraction to potential buyers will be harmed by what could be very difficult selling terms by MA and any sort of agreements in place with SD that could be seen as an unfavorable encumbrance. A buyer with the right mindset and chairman in-hand who knows how this place ticks will see nothing but an excellent investment with massive potential. I think people who say our global brand is diminished forgets what money and smart marketing can do to a brand. Man City were Man Utd's blue second team until they were bought out and all it took was Money (a ton) to chane their global image. Not saying another of those comes our way but a simple change in ownership, ambitious signings, and thoughtful -- smart PR/Marketing and things change quickly.

I bet Neesy is right here regarding the store operations. Assume that the space itself is part of the ground/stadium and the retail operations are managed or leased by Sports Direct under a very long term contract with sales kickers as incentive fees or % rent. Either way, if Mike was to sell the club, I wouldn't put it past him to have a long term agreement in place to continue to operate the club shops and/or a big buy-out to terminate.
-
I'm surprised the club shop isn't already The Newcastle United Club Shop by Sports Direct or something like that.

Just curious how Steve Harper was able to get these lot in, fucking class man. Wish this was on NBC over here
