I usually don't get over excited on players...but my word, he was class. His first pass of the game was a diagonal hit driven ball that showed alot of confidence. He was constantly talking to his players and pointing where to pass, and its funny that they listened too! And when they didn't, Arshavin let them know, and was great to see them look like they were apologizing... He doesnt have to look to like hes running himself into the ground to look like hes not unlazy - to me, he looked a player totally aware of waht was going on the pitch and where the ball needed to go. I'd be chuffed to bits and peices if we signed him - The hell with Modric, this guy may be 5 years his senior, but he looked class in my book. Russia were a different side with him in.

I'm not worried by his comments at all The man is just being realistic, hes a cunning man with the media - people need to look at that a little more. He's not some fool going to tell the world "we have XXX to spend and we will get XXX player" Come on everyone, you know better than that. He's veiling whatever he wants, and I personally don't think there is a real "budget", i think we have a ballpark amount of how much we are to spend, but overall, I think it all depends on who we can get and how much we decide the player is worth...I imagine if we have the chance to get 4 top quality players for big $ then we will get them, and if we need to get 2-3 squad players to challenge - we will do that as well. I think this summer will be amazingly interesting. STOP crying wolf everytime there is a mixed message...in KK we trust.

exactly. thats one of the reasons why i support him so much. HE EXCITES ME. When hes on the ball, i always wonder what the hell hes going to do with it, be it 3 quick turns and a pass backwards, or yelping for the ball from Beye and not getting it and getting worked up...the man wears his heart on his sleeve and wants to score goals. Hes dangerous, hes got an eye for the goal, and HE LOVES THE TOON. Get a grip guys, hes not causing off the field drama (i dont think), hes not talking about playing for anyone else or saying "maybe one day I will move on, or assess my time after my contract comes up"...the Lad just wants to score goals and be another top player in the 9 shirt.
