We are so slow in passing sometimes
-
I can live with that for a match @The Butcher
-
There’s been nothing to suggest Gallagher could play as a 6; he had one class season at Palace and hasn’t done fuck all for Chelsea.
-
Same here man. Honestly think he’s quite class. We’re 3rd place and he CLEARLY is key to that. Nothing he does is sexy like Willock or Joelinton but he’s one of the better half space 8s in the league. He presses and covers so much ground and he lets Bruno do his thing
-
He gets a rediculous amount of stick, and how he performs is measured so differently to others. One mis placed or one bad shot and he's fucking hounded for it. It's mad.
-
I imagine it's actually going to be quite difficult and expensive to sign someone who has the same engine and versatility + better finishing.
-
That is absolutely absurd, like. Unreal talent.

If you really want to sports wash, doing LIV is the complete opposite
-
Well two different business plans - they yearned to be a contributing member of an established PL and are playing ball with their ownership of NUFC and to your point Amanda is the perfect to be the face of our ownership group and deal with the other PL stakeholders. LIV on the other hand is a shit show. Designed to disrupt one of America’s most staunchly proud traditions / old boys club - the PGA. It was always heading this way and I’m a little shook the LiV and PIF boys didn’t see this coming.
-
If you're some pundit or twitter tactico or youtuber who talks football and all that and not rating Schar for his technical and def abilities...then you're a fucking imbecile tbh.
-
I'd get Manu Kone for half the price of Rice as much as I really want us to sign Rice. You could use the other ~40m on a top class LB or winger.
-
If Maxi can stay fit and buy-in to Howe's way there is literally NO reason to sell him.
-
All spot on - just think there's something in the Willock/Joelinton left side in attack and def if both can keep this form up - they blanket an entire side of the pitch. They press, they tackle, they carry the ball and they score goals! Your opposite side needs to be a Maxi or Miggy (when scoring) or a Diaby style winger imho then. But I hear you bro!
-
Did that at the home match no?
-
Genuinely insane they didn't just stick with Potter until end of season and then sacked him and got the man they wanted in the summer. But no, lets sack Potter, pay him a shed load now and then bring back Big Frank Said it before, Roman looks a fucking stable bastard in comparison to Boehly
-
Enzo has truly helped transform Chelsea since January - Potter Lampard will be really impressed with him.
-
We can not compromise the engine out of our 8's which is why whoever we sign that could "upgrade" on Willock/Joelinton/Longstaff needs to be able to play equal to them in terms of pitch coverage to allow Bruno the freedom to do waht he does best in an almost free attacking role when we're pushed up high. In my absolute mad mind right now... Joelinton Isak Maxi/Diaby/Ferran Torres Willock Bruno Longstaff/New CM Attacking LB Botman Schar Trips ^^ in the above we're signing a new dynamo winger who can create, score and get in behind. We're signing a new #8 who is better in attack than Longstaff but is able to do the off-the-ball stuff Longstaff does. On the LB side we get someone who can genuinly add more in attack. It also preserves the Joelinton/Willock interchanging too. We can obviously change it up situationally with say Maxi & New Winger flanking Isak or WIlson and Joelinton in at CM with Bruno and one of the new guy, Willock or Longstaff.
-
Every single time I want him as an 8, he puts in a master class like he did yesterday and Sunday where he’s doing it all from his “base” position. I’ve sort of maintained that the best way to have Bruno at his peak powers is to have 2 other midfielders with top level engines and that continues to prove right with Willock, Joelinton and Longstaff this season. The only way id be fine with moving Bruno further up is if we added a 6 who had the ability to cover ground like our current grouping does.
-
Around 75 mins or so I noticed trippier cutting in to be another passing outlet almost as another 6 or holding player and our center backs would spread out with Burn taking a LCB role. Trips was trying l orchestrate attacks and adjust our build up play. Not sure I’ve noticed that before.
-
For first season in PL he’s absolutely elite. He will be one of the worlds best in a short time. His confidence on the ball will continue to grow and his reading of the game will only improve. Absurd talent.
-
I mean it’s like saying Schar has been a 9.0 all season and Botman has been about 8.5 and there are certainly times one or the other has outshone the partner.
-
They haven’t a clue, they were stable under Roman tbh
