That article is fucking dreadful reading for any Everton supportor. I laughed out loud when it was written that the Everton board are confident they'll get better debt terms with an already in-construciton stadium like the current economic climate, globally will somehow not factor in. Shady shady stuff Moshri is cooking up.

I voted Trips but he's tied with Bruno for me -- regardless, right now but I genuinely love them all for all different reasons.

He's got a pretty long stride and very good recovery pace as his acceleration isn't that of a smallish attacker but when he gets on his bike he's caught up to everyone. Regardless nobody really gets by him anyway.

You'd be hard pressed to take out the interchanging Willock/Joelinton left side. Its virtually unplayable when Willock is getting goals like this. Joelinton's ability to execute the press, cover the pitch -- phenomenal.

Not sure I've seen a better CB at NUFC. Schar has been fantastic this season and he's literally playing a close 1b or 2 in terms of quality this season -- but to me, Botman is the best.

I just don't know how they'll play it, I'm certain they'll strengthen and push upwards -- whoever comes in has their work cut out breaking into this team. Love it.

Love how he plays switches first time sometimes -- against Chelsea he did one in the first half where he played it first time to Miggy who controlled it and released Longstaff. Sensational stuff.

We still get results with Wood starting. Not sure how people keep forgetting that!

He’s usually the first to run over to Miggy too, I saw it as he was trying to get his focus to defend the lead / tired legs.

I just rewatched the last 20 mins of the game and it’s even less bad than you think heat of moment. We started tackling harder, crowd was feeding into it and then we basically disrupted any momentum they had towards the end. Free kick? Let’s shove a bit and slow them them down. Let’s get into their attacking players heads to rattle them up and make them lose focus. It’s brilliant stuff.

You want to talk about what this team can achieve? What I saw last night was a team who believes they can win every match and don’t think any of this is a fluke. This is a title chasing mentality. Whether that can be sustained and form replicated post WC is another discussion. This team’s mentality is far harder than Keegan and Sir Bobby’s teams. That last ten minutes was unreal.

I personally love that any opposition team has to deal with our relentless pressing, our hard tackling, our mad crowd, and a group of players who are ready to back every single one up in any coming together. Come up to our ground and prepare for a mental and physical battle against us.

Drury was incredible on the call for our goal.

Whatever we did in the last 10 mins tonight’s we’d have come away with a point at Liverpool if we did it then. It’s needed versus these top teams who do the same shit. It’s football.
