Michael Owen is worse than modern day footballers. He's arguably one of the worst in recent memory IMO. He's an over inflated self worth, bigger than anyone who's helped him in the past, too big for the press, and that video of him being a fucking dick to that lad of a goalie sums it all up for me. I was through the fucking moon when we signed him, I thought - Big Al and Michael Owen, passing the mantle off - but no way. Got that so wrong. I hope his book fails, because seriously, feel like the only thing people will want to read is about his decline what a piece of shit.

I honestly think he’s just getting back to the speed of football and we’re much less organized than last season obviously so it’s adding to it. He’s our best midfielder imo and will and should keep his place.

If our front 3 became Almiron, Rondon and Joelinton in the old Perez role. Sheesh. We’d be potentially deadly. Think this guy really has the makings of a really good football player and in the right setup. He’s actually playing some incredible balls through.

He should have done better for his first half chance. In the second half that block was excellent on the Atsu pull back. The very type of goal he would put away in MLS.

Still looks a bit sloppy imo. If his form was a 9 last year on a scale. He’s playing at w 4.5 to 5. He’s not making those same tackles and he’s not playing the ball as quickly as he did last year as often. He’s arguably still my favorite player we have right now not named Schar. He’ll get back there I’m sure.
