  1. JP is a fucking a dickhead, he’s such a talented player but he’s just really annoying. Glad we didn’t sign the cunt.
  2. The circumstances around the training ground or stadium have likely more to do with how slow the sovereign wealth fund in Saudi is - it’s similar to many of them. It’s either warp speed or slow asf. Infrastructure projects should move faster given it seems like the city would green light most projects (apart from the red tape around the protected lands) but it really does seem like ANYTHING we do has to be thoroughly reviewed and approved 5x over.
  3. If they haven’t hired someone it’s likely more to do with either 1) we don’t like the candidates in the process or 2) we haven’t been able to agree a deal with one we liked. 3) Best candidates may not like whatever autonomy they have or don’t don’t have to get shit done. Major CEO searches take time. Speaking from experience on this very topic fwiw.
  4. Pedro’s 3 goals in this are all open play goals
  5. White socks with the three stripes on top looked good with the kit in the friendly yesterday.
  6. There wasn’t a Que of companies or individuals who wanted to drop an extra 100m+ on Ashley’s loan that should have been converted to equity, a shite training ground, a stadium in need of simple/routine capital improvements, a corporate staff at bare bones and a sad, depressed playing squad managed by a shit manager. The club had a one way ticket to relegation. We needed someone who had easy access to cash to basically cut as many blank checks as possible to fix all the above; and their selection of Howe was a lottery win Imho as he was able to enhance what we had and build the culture that has led us to the position today. Including players think of how much has been spent on everything at the club. TLDR I respectfully disagree. We needed a trailblazer in Staveley/PCP, the brand name of RB, and PIF (Yasir’s love of sport) cash flow during the time it came. Takeover’s since have been heavily leveraged buyouts with absolute freaks and weirdos.
  7. yes mate. We got absolutely fucked by the FMV stuff over maxi
  8. this is it for me. Fucking Liverpool just expecting ANYBODY who’s a talent yearns to play there.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Don’t see it happening but am really happy to see the club show ambition.
  10. For everyone’s benefit, he was asked about the Newcastle move and he said he would have come here if not for Paris sweeping in, a club he said he could never turn down as a French footballer.

    Anthony Elanga

I think securing a right footed but genuinely two footed in Elanga will prove to he the better option - it’s clear as day Isak thrived off of great right footed deliveries from Murphy so we’re not changing any of that with Elanga, but now we have a genuine two footed option with Elanga now who can deliver with quality with his left like an inverted winger. It’s brilliant move tbh.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Would comfortably be fine selling both Longstaff and Willock if we could sign Gallagher. Our midfield of Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Gallagher and Miley would be a nice 5.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Kulu or Maddison as a #10 would be tasty here
  18. <JP was a smokescreen to clear the out of way for Ekiteke>
  19. Be absolutely absurd if we somehow splashed it on Hugo Ekitike
  20. I too. Acquired the hollister colab. I don’t know why but it had to be done. @SEMTEX @Ameritoon my first hollister purchase since like 2005. Fuck sake.
  21. I really like Kudus a ton but he seems like he could blow hot and cold more often than not.

    Giorgio Scalvini

Scalvini. Taller, aggressive on winning the ball higher up the pitch and wants to use his ball playing to attack. Not a back to walls defender, but one who can do the riskier stuff Schar does for us when we’re pinning people in. At least that’s what I recall from reading / watching him a few seasons ago when he wasn’t hurt.
