If Hall was fit, he'd be there.

Wilson is probably our Rizzler, get him to handle it.
-
Our transfer team has no rizz
-
Lucas Chevalier, his market value on Transfrmarket is higher than Trafford, equal with Mamardashvili and Verbruggen. Highest valued keeper on there is 40m euro and Chevalier is 30m. He's in top 10.

Minus ours.

everyone says the club lost all structure and momentum when they got rid of him. can we hire Maldini as our sporting director?

Id have no issue with Grealish at Newcastle if he was the ace off the bench or played in special circumstances and needs. I’d love to see the fella get back to being an incredible footballer again (see Villa days) as his stuff he does in the community and how is with fans is really heart warming stuff. on to the football, he is one of a few footballers who can drag 2-3 defenders his way with how he retains possession and holds the ball, creating space and opportunities for others. I’d like to think what he learned at City coupled with new life under Eddie Howe would be pretty fascinating to see on the pitch. However, don’t see this deal happening anyway.

video or didn’t happen!

same. Just don’t see any part of his game that is absolutley mint or imposing at all.
-
Didn’t a few on here say that last summer he was expecting the move, texting our players etc? But the thing is that he’s not the kind of person to force anything out of respect to palace?
-
I’m absolutley certain these players just want to go on vacation and relax with their families. Not head to a bunch friendlies. At least Nations League and WC qualifying has some teeth to it for the future. I am sure the CWC boys see some remote purpose with that tourney. im fairly certain Burn missed his brother’s wedding for this England camp, no?

While the PL "Big 6" try and create these guard rails to fuck over clubs like ours, Forest and Villa -- Barca, Paris and Madrid are quietly scooping up elite talent across Europe for insanely low fees and paying massive wages on top of that.
-
Gordon has looked sensational there at times; it really does seem like an attitude thing with him. Recall he started wide right v Arsenal at home. Isak is good wherever he plays tbh.
-
fluid front 3 is the way to go, it's mad to think some of these footballers now are so one sided.
-
See some comments about young keeps, aren't mistakes 100% common amongst them? And it's the mid 20s to late 20s development that really sets them apart?
-
At least we know that the best football team Sandro plays for is not his national squad, its his club squad.
-
if we sacrified Anderson last summer to survive only to replace him with Ramsey a year later, would we be better for it? If Ramsey can stay fit, i feel like he offers so much that Willock can and can't do.

Aye, but just looking at last season we were 12-2-5 at home. 6th best home record. I agree, more technical ability could help break those teams that sit back, down -- but i think the real answer is raising the quality in all aspects to play multiple styles or play our main style, better. I like this answer more. It's about evolving and elevating the play. I do not want us our our fans to simply think we should be a possession team and become pass masters - that is not in our DNA. Murphy was electric last season, but it was pinned a lot on his elite-level crossing last season. Ideally, our next step is we find either a better crosser, a better wide forward, or a better dribbler/passer. And any combo of all of that will hopefully evolve the play. Another great post. It was that maddening lay-down job between 8th and 13th where we got ran over by Bournemouth and Fulham. Were ass at home and away v Everton. Were ass away at Palace. Were ass at home v Brighton. In half of those matches, had we taken a chance or two early on (Isak, Gordon....) be a different story.

I don't even know why Chelsea or Arsenal or even Liverpool piss about on wages and these fees when they should absolutely just paying what it takes to get Osimhen in. He's absolutely unreal.
-
After sacking 400 redundant staff, still paying Rashford million a week wages, and trying to buy Mbuemo on layaway....
-
yeah I don’t know the answer which is why I’m asking; but it seems many are very focused on us specifically finding someone to beat that specific style of defense when we have more or less been excellent with what we have at our disposal and how we’ve been able to maximize players we’ve had in spite of no transfer activity. So I naturally think 1) yes we need more technical ability, who doesn’t love that but 2) how often do we HAVE to break a team down to win a match? And 3) if we just get better players to more effectively execute plan A, then why truly reinvent the wheel?

id say Isak, Tonali and Bruno are the big 3 and would start every game if fit.
