Unchanged team then? -
Fucking hell wish we could fork out the cash for Lukaku man
-
Stoke's home shirt isn't too bad - their socks are terrible though. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lsX0LcvlfjE/UzAAZrvkrHI/AAAAAAAAN5U/RHRNVJz7VQY/s229/Stoke+City+14-15+Home+Kit+(5).jpg Spurs Away http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CknKfYzKB1U/UzFqIyUD9-I/AAAAAAAAWqk/Rkd2kgvXtd4/s600/Tottenham+2014-15+Away+Kit.jpg

Nah he's not good enough, but in any case they will buy someone better. Of course he's good enough. Eto'o and Torres have been caretakers, not relied upon to carry the attack. Lukaku could at least do the same and provide a more physical presence. In addition to being younger and having far more upside. There's still uncertainty to him that I doubt Mourinho has time for - hence why he sticks to Eto'o so much - he knows what he's good for and all that. If our attack was spearheaded by Lukaku - sooo many of our general problems are addressed from a physicality, pace, overall general play, etc. standpoint. We're about 2 places better as a team with someone like him in our squad. 0 chance we'd buy him imo, but would be awesome if Mou threw that one our way; out of the kindness of his cold heart.
-
His best mate Mou going to finally throw us a bone?
-
Remember him scoring against Everton last season at SJP and how mad he went in celebration. Think that was the moment I fell in love with Papiss. yeah, I'd agree that some of his celebrations (and some of the things he does for local fans) are why so many supporters like us have such a strong love for the guy. I miss the days when he was scoring and smiling away; man I hope he plays a blinder tonight and wins us 3 points.
-
That one late on when he volleyed it in at ridiculous pace was brilliant. MYM looks much more timid and nervous at RB then he did last season when he played in Europa. He seems hesitant to take people on or support down the wing - obviously he's a CB and all. But He's got quite a good cross on him and he's a good passer of the ball - his confidence looks zapped, of course.
-
He's still terrible.
-
I like Kalou a lot actually - good pace and finishing and a worthy player out-wide.
-
Just needs to bag a goal early versus Everton. Talk about a confidence booster, it's got to be one where he goes "that's it, I'm back"
-
I think there's a class player in there that needs to be re-found and his best skills are not utilized - hope that happens sooner than later. Quite honestly, if I was sure we'd go and sign a few good strikers to replace the outgoings I'd be more than happy with that.
-
Would love for him to just blast a few past Howard tomorrow night - some right thunder bastards.
-
I've watched quite a few of these matches over the years but this one seemed to be played with the most pace and tempo. It was real fun watching this and I was hoping Ramos wasn't going to get sent off as it was awesome watching the 11 v 11.
-
Wonder who the guy was that was sitting next to him.
-
Wullie - Neesy...we should have beaten Sunderland the last 3 times we played them; blame whoever you want - all to blame there. But regardless, we should have won the 2 this season and you can call it less gutless players or different manager. the same end result is we should have 6 more points and we should be higher than Man Utd. Despite some of the shit we served up this season we should be higher up the table, thats the tragedy with this season. There was clearly an opportunity to kick on when other teams were weak and we didn't.
-
We should have replaced Cabaye with Sigs imo
-
+ selling Cabaye +not signing anyone permanently for a few windows + giving up on the season in January.
-
I mentioned the exact same thing yesterday said he looked proper fucking gutted with that miss.
-
just more of the same and not the previous week. Can't be missing 1 v 1's to win matches which then turn to a counter and we concede.
-
They could say the exact same tbf. Absolutely they could. But we've chosen not to take advantage of the opportunity. + Cabaye + 1 Cabella/Grenier or something + Different Manager in this season and we should be fighting it out with Everton IMO
-
if 11/12 came back he would have scored the first 2 chances and we'd have walked the rest of the match. 11/12 Cisse didn't mess up chances, usually took his first few well and we'd then defend our lives out the rest of the match.

Liverpool are a top 6 team. File > Quit

All footballers need coaching man, esp raw ones like Sissoko.
