  1. Don't like that Shola is starting but I haven't for weeks and we've put in the work and won bar Swansea. I'll take the same stance and just hope we turn these bastards over. HTL.
  2. I hope we smash them and their fucking fans who paid 37 quid get pissed at their club for the extra 17 they had to pay to see their team lose.

    MLS

    Seen those...pretty cool.
  4. I'm not in favor of Shola starting as well - but I won't argue with results and we've won matches with that big bastard up there doing whatever the hell he does. If Pardew fears Santon and Debuchy getting exposed with guys on the flanks not tracking back and working hard - then AP needs to drill HBA into playing a role through the centre where he's putting in a shift but finding ways to get out wide left or right when attacking. That's our best way forward IMO.
  5. Anita & Tiote as holding CM's. Sissoko RM covering Debuchy. Gouffran LM covering Santon. Ben Arfa as ACM/CF drifting around the attacking end finding space to exploit, holding the ball up and keeping possession and breaking on the counter. That's how we should play. We shouldn't change our flanks - those 2 hard working guys keep us defending well. Its using the right balance of Remy + Shola/HBA/Cisse that needs to be tinkered with.

  7. NY fucking City FC. The money bags club...makes me sick man.
  8. His job should only be in question if we finish dead last if our performances are pathetic. But if we show great spirit and battle and lose, and the players show commitment - then No. It'll all be more obvious after the fact - but I'm not sure there is anyone who could get heads turning and people listening like Jurgen. My personal opinion is he be given more control of the entire setup (is he?) to work on these global changes long-term. I'd not be oppposed to him moving upstairs after his run of manager is over, no matter how it ends - I think he's absolutely essential to move our nation forward in the sport.
  9. Pre World Cup Extension doesn't please me. Even if he does have the hardest group. However, no arguing we've really moved up many many pegs since he's taken over and changed the philosophy of our game. Wanted his extension, would have preferred it after the cup. But not complaining overall. I love the man.
  10. For once it would be nice to win this and then have some easy home or away fixtures where everyone celebrates the draws we get to help us get through towards the later stages and give this cup run a go.

    Alan Shearer

Less stress. He did the business as a footballer and if the passion isn't there don't do it. He'll be fondly remembered forever as a legend and the only management stint he had was his attempt at saving us from relegation... Imagine if Dekka and MA called him over the summer and appointed him like they said they would?
  12. All the news sites reported "to at least 2014" so I imagine we'd hear soon regarding the kit deal being renewed or not. Crossing fingers we get Nike (like we'll actually get them)
  13. Don't know...I don't think they ever announced the true end date of the deal. But could be wrong. I just read randomly somewhere on FootyHeadlines: "The new Puma 2014-15 ACTV Template is the new Premium Puma teamwear template, which will likely be used similar as the current Puma King template for several teams including Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle United and Girondins Bordeaux."
  14. Nowhere as its a mock up. Wish someone could do a Newcastle Nike mock up like that so we can dream.
  15. Just did a google and looked at Transfer Market UK site.

  17. Wish Nigeria still had Nike. Baba, would you have rather had Puma versus Adidas like many of the African nations? Always wondered what Nigerian supporters thought...
  18. And Mike Bradley Can man babies exude sexuality? Just think its cool to see our guy in that brilliant kit.
  19. Nike's kits for Juve, Inter, and Roma are brilliant. Could you imagine Nike making our kits man? The collars, the classic and simple look to them. Although I'm pretty anxious to see how next year's turn out...if they continue to follow the Italy national kit theme/template we'll get a nice collar on ours again.
  20. I love daft little things like that. Like how Colo & Cisse are the only two players in our entire squad who cost more than what Sunderland paid for Cattermole. Catts was signed for 6M; Mapou + Anita were signed for 7M+ each

    Mr Motivator

They are separate. Just because you like someone, doesn't mean you'd run through a wall for them. Pardew seems a great man manager, but he may put too much pressure with his underdog and generally defensive outlook and philosophy on his players; which in turn burdens them on match days and in certain matches makes us fall apart. It's happened every season under his tenure.
