He was never going to have the same treatment at Nice given Puel left for Southampton. So it's fairly easy assumption to think he'd have the same role or freedom or man management (which to me is really the key for HBA). He probably would have done best going to Southampton and getting the same role under Puel. THAT is probably his best move versus PSG IMO.

I just want to be able to watch Newcastle United play on TV / Streaming and am willing to pay for this in the Championship, and have gone out extra out of my pocket through the entire time I've supported this club via NUFC radio subscriptions, PPV on satellite, paying for the extra TV channels etc. And I've always been for globalizing and allowing the worldwide supporters and football interested people access to such games. The PL on NBC has opened up the sport over here, and fair enough if you don't give a f*** about that and say the PL is whoring itself out, but whether you care about it or not, your global supporters can have an opinion on this matter too - lord knows we've been following allowing through the highs and lows too.

I'm honestly laughing at people still clinging onto hope of any soul in football anymore, it's gone man. It's been gone for a long time, it's about time you just pushed forward for total clear access to every match via TV or streaming online to give supporters near and far, with money or not , the ability to watch their team play.

Even in Sweden, every second division game is on TV these days. It's pathetic they aren't even being filmed with more than one camera. How do Swedish teams in the 2nd division manage to get a crowd when the games are on TV? * Don't answer affordable ticket prices. Obviously crowds aren't great, don't know what the average would be mind. Not strange considering the level would be around league 2 at best. You need to be a real fan of the team to bother with it, with how bad the quality is. Don't think championship crowds would suffer much from being televised. Are there really any evidence from around the world with crowds going down because of TV? It's incredibly shortsighted as it seems to only think about the people in the general vicinity who attend matches, not the fans all over the country and world who would like to see their football club play. I just hate that Sky is sat there recording every single match and cutting in to show goals live, so technically they are just creeping about with the feed.

Used to listen to Metro Radio religiously for every match until the official site basically commanded it via NUFC World or whatever it used to be called. So I'd listen through there every mach that wouldn't get coverage on Fox Sports World/Soccer or internet video streaming. Anyway, the last Championship season had a ton of coverage in the 2nd half of the season and of course NBC broadcasts everything. did like Lockwood much more than Lowes!

I really have no clue what I said about him in the past when he was manager of Liverpool. I do know that I was immensely jealous of my Liverpool supporting friends and brother because when we sacked Bobby we went Souness and they went from Houllier to Rafa and we fell apart and they went on to be a strong Champions League club and PL title contenders. Wanting good visual football is all fine and dandy but I've always wanted a club that would win and not be embarrassing. Anyway, everytime there was talk of our job opening in the Pardew days I wanted Rafa to be our manager. Looking over old posts of people and saying I told you so and shit is very weird behavior, if you were wrong then, who gives a shit. Just enjoy the fact we have one of the world's best football managers looking over our club and our interests. Long may his reign continue, including promotion at the end of this season and success in the future. Bring on Saturday!
