  1. Can't wait for a cheap signing throw on our next cheap crap Puma kit fit for a Championship level club.
  2. Different owner with same scouting and we'd still have Cabaye, Remy would be ours, Ba would be ours, Cisse too maybe and HBA would be at the WC. Finally we'd have signed Cabella by now and pondered peddling One of our strikers to sign Lukaku. Redic lack of investment when we should be laughing at how shrewd we could be with Carr's sneaky strategy.

Cheap stupid idiotic owner and MD if we manage to fuck this up.
  4. Colback as a football player is a fine squad addition for a skint and cheap ownership group we have. He never needs starting over Anita or Tiote or Sissoko IMO unless injury etc. However his stupid celebrations and pictures as a supposed Newcastle supporter is a bunch of bull shit. Same goes for Danny "could never play for Sunderland" Graham who was jumping about with Colback and Johnson when Di Canio's side bummed us. Colback better turn into an England regular or score goals versus Sunderland or he's got a ton to come around from.
  5. I'm not sure what this means, but I agree. "This goal will set him off he's back"
  6. We American Newcastle supporters for Cisse = We American Supporters for Jozy.

2 straps is the new 1 strap. 1 strap is the new 2 straps back then. Just watch 21 Jump Street.

Sheer fact that HBA is so far removed from the setup is just so depressing man HBA - Benz - Remy
  9. He was a decent athlete with very clean passing and striking of the ball who never really had the type of ability we're seeing from, say, Barkley now. That's someone who'll be in England's midfield for 10 years. Same as Gerrard, very different type, but he was dominating PL games in his late teens. In his first full season he was 19 and played 30+ games and scored 6 goals. That's pretty impressive. In Gerard's first full season at the same age he got 1 goal in 29 apps, then 7 the season after. Jenas could have been a top class England CM, but for whatever reason it didn't work out As I said, he never demonstrated the aptitude to control games like Gerrard did. His own ego, outside expectations and our continued inability to develop talent? I think Jenas main problem was also himself... People talk about that derby match being his first start, he looked fantastic that day.
  10. I prefer ours to be more like Juve tbh, exactly black and white, evenly.
  11. Think that would probably be it for some reason - they give us the shittiest of the lot. Wish it was built on Arsenal's 3rd kit or Italy template.
  12. The thing with the MLS guys is that they're all very intelligent players. Beckerman, for example, has the turning radius of an aircraft carrier, but he positions himself very well so as not to get caught dick-in-hand by better, faster players. Wondolowski is nothing but a poacher at the international level, but his movement is excellent. Always seems to find himself on the end of the ball, though his finishing can be shoddy at times. Zusi and Besler are actually two guys I expect to get offers from European clubs following the tournament. Besler is a Carlos Bocanegra clone, who was a solid player for Fulham and in France for several years. Zusi is a poor man's Milner ( I know) with decent passing and delivery. Both could probably do the job for mid-level French or Italian teams. I think Zusi is a great player and could do well as a squad player in the PL - he's strong, can pass, good workrate, etc. US teams in the modern era have been fighters and they seem to rise to the occasion or their opposition on the bigger stages. Nobody thought we'd have ever beaten England in the last cup and although it was an error that ended up in our goal we always make up our lack of technical skill with a well executed plan with hard working players who know their roles and do it well, and we've always been fortunate to have 2-3 players who've done well in Europe or their respective club campaigns sort of be "on" at the right time. FWIW I want England to do well this Cup as well and most of the "big" or "favorite" countries as I like the Cup in that regard.

    Yohan Cabaye retires

Just looking back at the lack of ambition, the shit manager, the shit way things are run within the club - i don't blame a single player for kicking up a fuss, contract or not. I know damn well he enjoyed his time playing in front of the fans and he knew damn well that we thought the world of him. Don't like the way he sacked off those few matches but the football he played 1st half of last season was world class and I'm happy he played for us. The board, the manager, the fans liason pr fuck wits, whoever, can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned b/c under any other owner we'd be sitting with a squad ready to challenge for the CL under a top manager (who probably would have been found like the players abroad) and Yohan Cabaye would be the lynchpin in a midfield with the likes of Cisse, Remy, HBA, or Ba in front of him ready to tear it up.

If club says one thing I believe opposite.
  16. Like that we still use our old kit too b/c we can't be arsed to release the fucking thing

    Did Cabaye sell himself?
  18. They are some f***ing bellends man The only thing I like about them are their derby matches when the away team hits a winner.
  19. Fucking short sided stupid decision by this shambles of a setup we have for this club we support. Sickens me.
  20. I like Chandler and Johnson on the fullback positions as they've good pace to get up and down. I'd prefer Bradley for Davis and Mix at top of Diamond with Dempsey and Johannsson.

If Ribery is out for the cup then Cabella will probably go in his stead?

    Kevin Keegan

Quite sad that the two greatest men in modern times for this club were pushed out in the manner that happened. SBR Has a statue but I'd support a stand named after him or a football academy or something. As for Keegan the dreamer in me believes his time being with our club is far from over and one day he'll be back some way.
