It's growing on me, I'd prefer a more classy collar like the France one that has some structure to it, and perhaps the collar in blue or something. (Greece kit is actually really nice btw, think they did that one right) But its a good kit, and the new badge, while not as cool as the Centennial, is again growing on me. France's kit in all white with a blue collar would have been pure perfection.

That 3rd Timbers kit is class.

Anita's football brain is far superior to most in the squad - evidenced by some of those moves he's part of when he is on the pitch. His ability to turn and play reverse balls or quick up-field passes to feet is outstanding tbh. Said it for ages.

That's really the most frustrating part. Few signings and we'd be in the thick of things trying to fight it out with Spurs. A better manager and we'd be a top 4 side this season. There are a handful of matches, maybe 2 handfuls where we absolutely should have won when we lost. We can't ever manage to turn losses into ties.

Really didn't get a chance to chat with anyone at the pub in NYC with the Toon Army NYC group. Atmosphere wasn't as fun compared to he Spurs home match at beginning of last season. Everyone was happy with the result, not as much singing at all. Perhaps that's the general mood of it all. I was actually kind of bummed, they were class a yer ago! Love the result and passing we put together. It's how we need to play weekly. The head butt incident really pissed me off. I don't like AP but that was shocking lack of professionalism and disgusting for a manager to act that way.

Sissoko keeps ruining it for him! Last match he was offside and played De Jong that ball and now he beats him to the put-back today. Nah he's a talented player and keeps it all ticking with his intelligence and general play. He'll get goals soon.

I said pre match we should be beating these. It's all about the mentality of the squad. He can shut up about the lack of passing in this team; I hope the players took slight in that and showed themselves. In a team with Remy, Sissoko, Anita, and Tiote we should be able to control the games and counter and score. Add in Colo, MYM when with Willo, and Krul for most part and we should always be beating these lower clubs. It's all mentality and if we're not on; it's over from the get-go.
