Question. Starting right or left?
-
Proud of this team. First time since Bobby Robson Era. Jesus.
-
Not totally saylor fault
-
"Ashley's ability to spread ill-feeling has also been curbed and Taylor pinpoints a harder business reason for the changed mood. "We had an issue last season. We couldn't negotiate a bonus scheme and that caused a separation between the playing staff and the chairman. It was a big divide. But things changed in pre-season. The chairman agreed straight away to the bonus scheme and he now lets the gaffer get on with what we do best." No wonder.

I just think they are a good partnership. Hard to determine who is a better "team player" because I do think Sturridge is too selfish. Technical-wise Sturridge is definitely better.
-
Hurray, no more Perch on the bench.
-
I would say their key player is Adebayor. Modric and Bale are great players but this season it's Adebayor which give Spurs the cutting edge they have been longed for. Would be a big big plus if he's out of the match.
-
No, King is quality whenever he plays. One of the best centrebacks in EPL. It's Kaboul that we should exploit..
-
I would say a great manager should get the results with the formation he thinks is the most appropriate to the team. I don't care if he did the same "mistakes" if we get the 3 points next game.
-
I would go for the same formation except HBA for Obertan and Santon for Raylor. Appreciate Raylor's effort but he is just too slow to handle Lennon.
-
Shocking attitude.
-
Can someone make a compilation video for Krul? Fucking amazing performance this season. He has exceeded Given's level imo. Unbelievable.
-
Because it doesn't make sense if we asked HBA to tackle. I understand Pardew's approach and to be defensive it's correct to bring in Lovenkrands and Guthrie. My question is just WHY WE HAVE TO BE THAT DEFENSIVE FFS.
-
I think what worried people most at that time was the squad atmosphere once Nolan's left. The performance prior to relegation was fucking shameful if you can remember, and the team was clearly playing with no heart and no soul. We were led to believe that Nolan/Barton/Enrique were the core of the team revived by Hughton and getting rid of these players would bring us back to square one. Well now obviously this is not the case, and this makes you wonder what is the most important element for "squad atmosphere". Is it a leader? A couple of British players? A manager like Pardew? Or the performance-based bonus clause inside the new contracts? Or just luck?
-
If only he can hit those mid-range effort....that would be a stunning performance. Well done Ober.
-
Great great performance. So glad to see him scoring goals and that means Shola is further away from the pitch!
-
Welcome back. Now we can beat Spurs at home. Without THAT Tiote it is impossible.
-
Tough decision. Would like to see him starting but I don't know who should be dropped, Ba or Best, or even whether playing only 1 forward is a good idea.
-
This team is a lot better than last year. Shame for the squad depth but the starting eleven are brilliant (excl Raylor)
-
He is not the next modric, but the next Lampard. Very similar type of player I would say.
-
It's entirely dependent on how long Ashley is at the club imo. Can't see us bringing him back with him in charge at all, when they burn bridges they burn them good and proper. A new owner comes in and wants to make themselves popular early doors and the timing and the money's right then it would be a go-er. One transfer where bridges certainly weren't burnt from either side IMO. Carroll has never said anything negative about the owners or the club, and think it's the same the other way round (iirc) Ignore the bridges burnt comment then, I think there's zero chance of it happening. Money's the main factor. Agree with that. He won't take a pay cut, and we won't offer anything more than 50k.
-
Oh yea you're right then from now on let's start a Ashley-lovers club Why didn't you come out and support Ashley before then? Or you just start to think in this way after the unbeaten run in order to "prove" Pardew is a shit manager? Jesus Christ.

I didn't remember Kluivert was SBR's signing. It should be Sheprerd who made the decision, and Kluivert was as slow as fuck as well.
