Midfielder Sylvain Marveaux, 25, has agreed terms to join Newcastle United on July 1 from Rennes, after signing a five-year-deal at St. James' Park. Since then he has made over 100 appearances for Les Rouges, scoring 16 goals from attacking or left midfield roles.
