I don’t get the hate. Joao Pedro kinda resembles the path for Richarlison. 2-30m is not a ridiculous price and he could become a solid EPL starter in a year or two. It’s definitely not a bad signing.
-
He won’t be available for us at this price. It’s a move targeting for future transfers
-
If the Portuguese gang at Wolves is that good they should finish higher than 10th.
-
Ok no body is whining. Everyone remember this. Negativity in this thread does not count as whining.
-
Garner available at 14m. Go get him ASAP please.
-
I start to feel we need a new CM to partner with Bruno/Joe and the priority is even higher than RW/ST
-
Or he knows Erik is just fucking shit. Honestly the goal kick short option execution last night was the worst I have ever seen in EPL.
-
Ronaldo probably was the one giving most of his effort on the pitch. I don’t think he is the problem now for Man Utd.
-
I think the result itself is fine. Brighton is in-form and it’s an away game. Some players should play better like Bruno and ASM while Pope and Burn (may as well the whole defense line) deserved huge credit today.
-
Burn made the block, not Botman
-
It’s fine. Many people here said that signing Sarr would be a disappointment
-
Woods hold up play was quite effective last season. He is not the best finisher but he is far from being a rubbish.
-
Things have changed. In the past you could have talent scouts that uncover some gems from lower leagues. Nowadays even if you manage to find some, they normally have agents already and will ask for big wages. Their club would also demand much higher fees than before.
-
Much better than last season, keep it up
-
He came as an unknown but will leave as a hero we will miss for long.
-
He should start for Brazil in the coming WC. I am serious
-
I think it’s fair to say that we have the best Bruno in the world
-
Did we reallllllly lost some youth players that become world class players? The last one was Carrick? Of course we have had a lot of problems re youth development which is not a secret, however, I also think the natural talent of our youth players are simply not good enough. Dummett and Longstaff are probably the best case already (rotational players at best)

Chelsea did buy a lot of youngsters without giving them time to develop their games. We can also add Lukaku to the list. However that is not the case for the established ones. Do we have any recent examples for established players that flopped in Chelsea and then found success again in other teams?
-
Both of them were still very young at that time and they developed their games in a much easier league and transformed their own games before coming back to EPL. Are people genuinely comparing Werners case to Salah/KDB?
-
Nearly all Chelsea fans are happy to see him leave. If that’s not a warning sign nothing is. we can take the gamble, I don’t mind, but please don’t overlook the risk behind. Werner has been fucking terrible . According to my Chelsea mates even his work rate on the pitch is under question.

I do think the club is right to sort out the defence and midfield first, because they are the keys for keeping possession
