I know we are mostly shit against these but I want us to fight tonight, lesser teams have given Man City a game plenty of times this season, look how shite Spurs were first half on the weekend and then look at the problems they caused in the second half. Granted the game dies if Man City score first but I think we need to put the best team we can out there to cause them issues, if they are carrying an injury though I wouldn't play them. Is it worth playing Wissa in one of the winger roles but tucking in a little with Woltemade up top? As @AyeDubbleYoo says if we can score first it may cause a bit of panic. *Can't wait for Bernardo Silva to score a deflected shot off Wissa's ass in the first 5 minutes!!

Happy but have some gripes. Whilst I am sure that PSR is the main driver behind the transfer circus that always seems to follow us, Eddie does also give the impression he is not very flexible when it comes to targets. Whilst I think the majority of us agree that long term, that loan options are not the best, however, I think January time is a good opportunity to try one or two. I know it is getting boring citing Villa, however, they gambled last January and it very nearly paid off, they got to a FA Cup semi final (Ok they never showed up) and probably a dodgy/controversial referee decision away from getting CL football two seasons in a row. It is a massive risk not getting cover for Hall, yes BDB is back but he maybe needed for CB. What is the biggest driver for not getting in any back ups? Is it the board over cautious on PSR or is it Eddie over cautious over personnel, or a bit of both?

Sky have confirmed that the ref initially gave the foul for the shirt pull, I'm assuming then if he gave it for the tackle then the free kick could not then be awarded?

I'm glad someone else has seen it this way, I thought I missed something or that I didn't understand the rules properly. Free kicks are rarely given for that little contact. I'd love to to be hear the official reasoning no doubt they'll make some bull shit up

I'm assuming the ref gave the penalty for what he thought was a trip? Surely after they see he's taken the ball they can't go back to the outside of the box pull. Now if the ref initially gave a the pen for perceived shirt pull I could understand

Pretty much this but I would like Willock to be given another chance purely to try and get a bit of momentum with him as long as he isn't gassed from the effort. I am sure Wednesday would have been a big confidence builder for him and if he can deliver another good performance we could get something like the old Willock back.

A performance like last night gives me encouragement for Saturday, however, we have been here too many times. Be great for confidence and of course a push for European football if we can turn this lot over. The players should be buzzing after last night and raring to go. My fear is that a lot of them will be on their arse after the effort. Would be great if Willock has turned the corner, maybe a performance like that will help him build his confidence and the effort he put in would have done wonders for his match fitness.

Feared the worse after the first 10 mins but we were well worth the draw in the end and better chances 2nd half. Willock' best performance in a few seasons looked knackered before he went off. Probably Ramsey's best game for us so far.

Tielemens is out for a few weeks as well now isn't he. So that signing makes sense although risky. I think it is a mistake to not look for a stop gap for our defensive issues at the moment. Miley may well be needed in midfield depending how severe Joey and Bruno's injuries are.

That draw couldn't have been much worse but at least it's not Arsenal, Man City or Liverpool away. They won't be relishing the draw either a very good team of course but a team that we can get at on our day.

I didn't have too many complaints on that one, I think had the referee not seen it I think VAR would have overturned it anyway, but yes if you are giving that as a foul why DCL on Thiaw isn't one I do not know. They either didn't look at the contact from DCL or deemed not clear and obvious

His standards have been so high that his mistakes probably stood out even more. Hopefully that one is out of his systems and he'll be back to his usual next game. Thankfully ultimately it didn't cost us either.

Yeah it didn't help that Thiaw was so off his game last night. Proper nightmare half for him. I was half expecting the ref to give him the second yellow for the penalty. I haven't seen any post match stuff really, i assume Eddie hooked him due to worries of a sending off?

Will be a tough game but hopefully we can build momentum and take these. I don't think they will give much away and I like that Stach. DCL always seems to be a nuisance against us to. I don't think Eddie will change too much despite so many games in a short space of time with the FA Cup coming up, that is where I see him making a few changes.

Imagine getting that riled up over a miss when we have won the game anyway, disgusting abuse. Even if that miss did cost us points imagining going to his social media to abuse him in any manner is ridiculous to me let alone giving that kind of abuse. Most of the time nothing will happen and these people know it. Sad times! Being critical of players/managers/officials on a message board is one thing but what drives people to go to them on socials never makes sense to me.

Just had an email, they cancelled the withdrawal 😔 I don't even know what happened with the bet to be honest wasn't watching. Was expecting it, Still feels like a kick in the nuts. Thanks for the responses though both 👍🏽
