  1. Everyday I see on the BBC gossip column that Juve are going to sign someone from the PL, can't imagine would the Italian equivalent would be like. Even though we've had some stupid list it is nowhere as bad as it used to be. Roberto Baggio anyone?

It's so funny to see someone on their forum say "we're going to get relegated aren't we?" after all the shit they've been aiming at us "lucky" "wait till our first full season with MON" "sell half their players and they'll struggle" "2nd season syndrome (even though it will be our 3rd since promotion)" Surely they can't look at their squad and think they are anyway near us? Fletcher, Ward, Heskey (please lol) won't change that either.

nah, santons dogshit marra And if Tiote was English he'd be just a run of the mill kicker. No better than Catts like!
  4. Looks like both clubs are playing hardball. Maybe Ashley doesn't want to concede to other teams demands as it may set a president. Even if we do give in somewhat at least Ashley is showing the Newcastle are no longer name your price type of club??
  5. I wouldn't mind taking a look at him just think he would expect to start most games if loaned out by Chelsea.
  6. I used to think all away goals counted double regardless of the score. So if a European game ended Barcelona 3 - 2 AC Milan I would think that Milan were awarded the win 3-4 :-)
  7. 6million euro would be a steal. 8million euro would still represent a very good deal. Let's get on this. Like most I think I would feel let down by any other right back.
  8. I don't see why footballers should feel obligated to play for one club when others desire their services. Fulham can relinquish his wages if he refuses to play. Selling him would be the more intelligent move, though. Because he signed a contract. "I agree to play for you for x years while you pay me a huge wodge of cash." It's not rocket science, and he didn't have a gun to his head. They can't win though really. When they plan to run down their contract and become a free agent they are criticised as well. Fans especially seem to disprove of this.
  9. It's obvious a trick to get a shorter ban. Thing is will the FA be spineless and let it happen. It's a stupid loophole which can easily be countered by refusing transferring registrations until bans are served when it involves clubs belonging to the same FA. I'm assuming a ban is held if a player transfers to another country?
  10. My heart is ruling my head on this one. The rose tinted glasses of mine is thinking what of Carroll comes back and hits form again. We will have a formidable front line. However my head tells me he's only ever don it in the Prem for 6 months and has been garage most of the time for Liverpool, he is a bit of a trouble maker. In a sense totally opposite to our current (successful) transfer policy. I can't see Dekka's or Ashley being overly enthusiastic about the deal which may mean Pardew really wants him Back. Or this could be one big ego trip for Fat Mike. "Look at me look at me, sell Carroll for £35 million make £20 profit when I re-buy him" ??

I'm 100% sure you can turn down the transfer (losing all rights like redundancy). This confused staff at our company, the staff kept on by the administrators and then Tupe'd also expected a redundancy payment from the state for their employment with the original company. Took most of them a while to understand why they couldn't get a redundancy. Just not sure about within 48 hours rule which Green mentioned in an interview with Sky the other day.

I had my employment transferred under TUPE, it was made clear to me that I was able to reject my transfer. However, I did see an interview with Green on the fly the other day and he said players had to make the decision within 48 hours. I'm not sure if this is correct or not?bAll I can find is that you can reject a transfer. But have the NewCo actually formed yet? Have the old Rangers been officially liquidated?
  13. He's nothing like Murray. People tend to not like Murray because he comes accross miserable, surley and arrogant at times. People do not like Barton because he stubbed a cigar in a players eye, assaulted a fellow pro, mooned rival fans, served time for beating someone up, has a brother who is a convicted murderer and had a meltdown on the football pitch which resulted in a massive ban. I'm sure i've missed a few. Yeah you're so much a like Joey.

The collective mental lunacy with them lot is baffling. Llorente FFS.
  17. Take this one on the chin just like we did with Gameiro. I trust we have other targets, and one thing I'm pretty sure there won't be a panic buy from Pardew/Carr. Just worries me a little going into the season with Cisse, Ba, Shola and Xisco. Good luck to De Jong. Edit - forgot about the Power Ranger. Feel a whole better now like
  18. A massive FU to Simmo - great stuff. Strange given our persuit of Debuchy.
  19. and scousers. and the welsh you cut me deep Madras

Yeah seen that for Norwich and Lafferty to Sion. Good to see more British players testing their arm abroad. He's a grade a cock though. Hated him ever since that dive.
  21. Really hoping to see more of him next season with the extra games. As people have said we are already light there. Only be happy to send him on loan if we sign a 1st team CM.
  22. Could you imagine we still had Barton. Send him a Tiote in. Bad cop, psycho cop

The thing that pisses me off with all of this. Any other club other than Celtic or Rangers would have to start in Division 3, there is no way the SPL would bend over backwards to allow Aberdeen/Hearts/Dundee etc to get them high up the structure as possible. Poor!
  24. Heavy irony here, from the club that has maintained a vastly higher wage bill than us despite performing worse over the last three seasons. To be fair I don't like Spurs but the arrogance of Liverpool fans. Given the amount they've paid out in transfer fees and I would imagine high wages they have a cheek. The end of the day Spurs finished in a CL spot and are very unluck not to be in that competition next season whereas Liverpool were way below you last season. So it's not a shock if he has choosen Spurs over Liverpool, a sign of the times maybe? Liverpool can't live off their past glories forever. I don't know where these rumours would be coming from given your management situation?
