Mike Ashley and DL are too small minded to see that putting him up for free will be cheaper in the long run than trying to flog him for a fee. Then again apart from the Given deal thats the one thing that MA has done okay is getting a decent fee for players, just see no reason why anyone would want to BUY Geremi, though signing him on a free could be seen as a gamble worth taking. I was chuffed when he signed I really though we had potential of bargain of the season with him. The rest is history!!

I hope some other reserve players make a spot on the bench, with such a small squad and it being unlikely that we will buy anyone we will need them at some stage.

Maybe they are looking for excuses, but the shit thats gone on with us since relegation has got to be distracting for them. They have no real leader management wise they don't know who's coming or going. I tend to think this is from the heart with Taylor, I don't think he's putting excuses out there early. Its a shambles at the moment. I just hope the actual football can bring some relief, but with people like Duff, Smith & Nolan in there I can't see much relief.
