As a Newcastle fan I don't see us seriously finishing in the top 4 and i'm guessing non-fans aren't either. Today's a big game. We win and a lot of people look at us differently. Including myself.

Let's be honest with ourselves, we'll do very well to stay 6th. As long as we're sitting at 6th though, we at least deserved to be mentioned in the same group as the other teams around us. Even if the odds are against us. Why? The talent of our squad doesn't really deserve it. If we win today I think a lot of people might genuinely believe we can sneak in there but at the moment we shouldn't pretend just to make us feel better.

Aye, City are only on course to finish with over 90 points. Also comfortably out the CL in the group stages. Comfortably out? They finished 10 points ahead of 4th and a point behind 2nd. Stop telling fibs. They didn't deserve to go through. Could've easily lost at home to Napoli and comfortably beaten away by Bayern and Napoli. There's a limit to how great a side can be when they play Gareth Barry all the time. United have been weaker year on year since Ronaldo left.

Pretty certain both Raylor and Ameobi will start. We'll start the team that played after Yohan got injured.

You've actually got a point with the 'never scored 20 league goals', too. Just by looking at his stats it seems like a great record, looking a bit deeper into it it probably doesn't anymore.

R.Madrid are mentally defeated by Barca before they even step foot on the pitch. I reckon Barca are beatable in the CL and I would wager that they won't win it this season. However it will not be Real to knock them out. Drawing each other in the CL is a free pass for Barca.

Yep deserved. From the first minute really. Arsenal looked dangerous obviously but so did they. Didn't hang on either. Pushed on for another and were fairly comfortable. Would've liked to see us do that against QPR instead of bringing on Perch like.
