Was clear by December the case would get dropped. Should've made a move then.
-
Better in the air than from what I saw of him previously
-
Tiote & Sissoko will play regardless of form or anything with Pardew as manager. Tbh I've been most impressed with Sissoko outwide but he's not as bad in the middle (not at AM) as people make out. But he and Tiote and Anita is not wavey at all for a midfield trio

This is it. If you're going to be useless outside the box, you have to be pretty clinical infront. He's not.
-
Season was over for me against Cardiff. The Cabaye saga with not replacing him has made me very apathetic about the clubs prospects under Ashley.
-
He's been shite for at least 13 months consistently with the odd good game.
-
He plays up to the crowd and other silly things instead of concentrating on the game. He also plays up to management etc. It's basically the whole "Geordie Hero" thing which is a bit of a mask. It's not about the club or his love of the club, it's about him and his career.
-
"His movement was superb" at least twice he called for the ball despite clearly being in an offside position.
-
Always said we are very reliant on the Krul-Colo-Tiote-Cabaye-Remy/good striker spine.

That's the joy of having such a big squad...............oh wait. Actually pretty well stocked in his position Stocked with what? Kids? Dummett, Haidara are f***ing children and MYM's not a natural there. As opposed to the fully developed professional that is Santon? He's got bag loads more experience than those 3, in that position. What does his experience bring? He can't even be bothered to run.

I must be clear. I've always thought he should be involved. I like him in the #10 position. But it's clear Pardew hasn't. It looks weak and desperate and tbh, it's not really Pardew's fault. Threadbare squad, selling and not strengthening he's had to bring a lad back who has been out in the cold and expects him to do anything positive. It's games like these that makes me think we need to do anything to get rid of Ashley, even if that means another relegation.
-
Why are we even playing this guy? Pardew has shown 0 faith in the lad. A few weeks ago he wasn't even making the bench.
-
Very dissappointed in his performance. But second to react 3 times from the defenders...fucking hell/
-
With Cabaye gone we need to go back to the drawing board. Just get our most talented lads on the pitch at the same time, see what happens.
-
Against better sides Arsenal's fullbacks need more protection. They've done well so far at home in any case so it might not be an issue at the Emirates (Dortmund result aside I think)
-
We've also sold our second highest goalscorer and second highest assister.
-
How they are only 1 point ahead of Spurs, I don't know.
-
Eh? That's one of the reasons why the Spanish didn't like his Barcelona attacks. Like us and the Olympics, France and WC '98 the success of the national team is an example of unity and working together as part of a larger more successful nation. But i'm going to stop now, you're obviously a die-hard fanboy if you're trying to twist the facts.
-
When you consider he gives up too easily, doesn't put a foot in, doesn't seem like a determined lad. I reckon his issue with running towards goal is more mental than physical.
-
Actually think he just got caught flat footed. Coupled with his non existent recovery pace i think it made it look like he'd f**ked worse than he had. Justa bad body position to start with. Would be due to being unfamiliar in the role i would think. It's not recovery pace, he just can't be arsed. Has no urgency to his game whatsoever. He's not in Italy anymore man. He's been here for a good while.
-
He doesn't have the personality for CM. Like a Jermaine Jenas he has a lot of qualities but no steel or determination. You need characters in CM, someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck. To stand his ground, he can't even put a foot in at LB.
-
He did exactly the opposite at Real Madrid, particularly in his last year there. Always deflecting blame. Exactly. Wait till stuff doesn't go his way, it'll all be 'players who betrayed me etc' like last time he left Chelsea. Ummm, no. Chelsea 1.0 was all Jose vs Roman and his cronies. Oh yeah, Jose battling that c*** who give him hundreds of millions to build a dream team. May have had something to do with appointing Avram Grant (lol) and Frank Arnesen (at least that kind of made sense if they could've worked together) over his head and spunking 30 million on Shevchenko when he wanted Eto'o. And Madrid's just a clusterfuck no matter who's there, rumors are popping up already that they are ready to rumble Ancelotti if he doesn't win the La Liga or the Champions League. Whole situation was weird, Ronaldo has said he'd work with him again and despite being the cause of it all, Ancelotti still has Lopez as his number one over Iker. He did have a fall out with the Chelsea players according to Makelele. He was being an idiot in Spain and they didn't like it. That's the cause of his issues there. The media here love him and feed into his BS. They don't think he's a genius in Spain and they don't find his antics charming or funny. That's why when he came back he was talking about being loved and being happy. Mourinho loves to create an us vs. them mentality but it didn't work at Madrid. Half his players have won multiple trophies with the Barca guys and they all felt the rivalry and gotten over the top and personal/vindictive e.g. sticking his finger in Vilanova's eye. By the end of his reign his was talking nonsense on a weekly basis. I don't think that's right to be fair. The Spanish football press are worse than our red-tops, it's all gossip and sensationalism to sell their daily sports editions. As each sports daily has it's favourite (Barca or madrid) the objectivity goes straight out the window. Because of the above, it was generally accepted that Mourinho had cottoned on quite quickly that press conferences were laughable and he treated them with quite a bit of contempt, this was part of the reason why there was a real dislike of him, virtually all of the press, including the pro-Madrid turned against him. As for Ramos and Casillas, Ramos is the equivalent of our own Steven Taylor except that he plays for Madrid and he is a decent footballer, this guy has pigshiit for brains ...honest! casillas... there has to be something Mourinho saw that he was doing wrong or diego was doing right as Ancelloti has followed the same template... What does any of that have to do with the fact they plain old didn't entertain his twaddle? He talks crap and they didn't indulge him. They saw his attacks on Barcelona as an attack on Spain. They can talk their own crap. Same thing happened in Italy, the media didn't like him. He fell out with half the squad, not just Ramos and Casillas. Like I said, they simply didn't buy into the "us vs them" mentality. He fell out with the Portuguese/Brazilian contingent too. Pepe, Marcelo etc. he builds a storm and it's difficult to contain.

Away to Chelsea Majority of DM's in the league probably don't look very good at Stamford Bridge the way Chelsea overrun your midfield. He's not arsed when the right winger is goal side of him at LB, he doesn't care at CM/DM. He won't put a foot in. He won't count. A passenger always.
