Him, Pope and Livra in the backline reduces our ability to play out from the back a lot and it's a nervy group. Having Sven, Hall & Dubs in there lifted the composure we had as a team in general play.

In 442 days he definitely plays up top - is considered a little lazy / poacher

He has been since he joined mind.

Brighton's next 4 games are huge. City (A) Forest (FA Cup - H) Villa (H) Palace (A) Probably need them out of the FA Cup. As they are unlikely to finish in the top 6. We probably want them to lose to City. Lose to Forest. Draw Villa. Lose Palace. 4 points from those will keep them in the pack. 6 points or more would be excellent.

Top 5 CL 6 & 7 Europa 8 Conference Assuming a team that qualifies for a bigger Euro comp via league wins the Cup. Need Man City to win FA Cup (assuming they finish in the top 6). 8th will get Conference if Liverpool win or we win and qualify for a bigger euro comp. Edit: At this point Forest winning the FA Cup might be advantageous too. I can't see them finishing below 6th from here so they will qualify for the Europa or CL anyway.

Getting us into the CL with this team would be a massive achievement. Massive win last night.
-
Agree not a long time on the pitch. Still - people seem unanimous that Wilson has been pap in small cameos and I can't disagree. Same is true of Willock.
-
Not focussed on the summer atm. Every game this season is absolutely massive. This is a pivotal season and could be our best ever. Atm Joe is an option off the bench and no more.
-
I think 21 points will get us 5th. 18 leaves it to other teams not performing. No point debating what's better CL or League Cup. One doesn't directly impact the other.
-
If we qualify for the CL, we'll need another genuine CM option. Maybe not a proper "upgrade" but someone that is effective in a different way. I don't think Miley is close.
-
Big fan of Willock. But his cameo prevented any chance he had of starting on Sunday IMO. Thought he was pap.
-
Big fan of Tino but unsure if he has the technical ability to become a top fullback.
-
Win 7 of the last 10 and we’ll get 5th imo. 1 of those wins needs to be Chelsea. 6 wins and a couple draws might be enough too. 4-5 of those look very routine on paper. But we’ve lost some of those this season already.

He’s got something for us on Sunday

Was excellent on crosses and sweeping up.

Awful game this -
He’s got skill and ability. For the money they should’ve gone for Ekitike imo.
-
Huijsen type money and not dissimilar wages I assume. Thuram type money.
-
Only Man City and Forest left right? from here I can’t see either side finishing below 6th. I think they will be top 4. It’s Villa I can see winning the Fa cup.
-
Aye it’s all about who can go on a run from here. If we play well and go on a run we’ll be in the CL. Same is true for any club in that bracket (except Villa - too many games). Brighton are back in it with 4 wins in a row. Forest having the points in the bag is a huge advantage. They can stumble over the line if needed
