  1. It’s insane. Our biggest weakness is a lack of depth and speed in defence. We look to be sorting that out. And offensively we lack quality and depth. Arsenal are a level above us but you look at their attacking options - Jesus, Nketiah, Trossard, Havertz, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka and one of ESR or Balogun might stay. That’s 7/8 attacking players with real threat. You think 5 or more of them could score 10+ this season. We’ve got Wilson, Isak, Barnes, Gordon, Almiron, Murphy, Joelinton, Willock. It’s not the same level.
  2. Arteta sending a message by not having Tierney on the bench imo. He’s 3rd choice CB.
  3. For the 10000th time. That’s not his job.
  4. I only watched half an episode. Tbh I liked the unmoving shot of the Owner after relegation. That was real and candid. He was putting the brave face on but you could see he was absolutely gutted. And they just kept the camera on him. Nothing in our doc is as candid. Im not complaining btw. I liked the show. I just liked the others Better (Spurs and Arsenal specifically- Burnley one I’ve not watched properly).
  5. I liked it. But I liked what I’ve seen of the Burnley, Spurs and Arsenal shows Better.
  6. Reminds me of a young VVD in the YouTube comp. Faster and stronger than most attackers so makes things look easy. Delicious range of passing too.
  7. Like Ben White, Trossard and Dan Burn? All 3 have been far better than I expected too. I think Caicedo is HIM. Great player. Maybe not £100m but £80m or so.
  8. Liverpools transfer policy since Edwards left has been a bit mad. Think he’ll do well there but £110m? Todd is an idiot. Chased him all summer - eventually offer the asking price anyway… then get gazumped by Liverpool. What a shit show.
  9. Amanda and the husband are super close to the day to day right?
  10. Interesting that he has a perspective on Anthony Gordon as a prospective signing. He seems closer to us than I assumed.
  11. Better than letting him go for free
  12. Why wasn't this an All or Nothing? Just started it but I'm tired.
  13. I reckon Grealish played more minutes than KDB last season. Nope. KDB more but it was close.
  14. Foden and Mahrez couldn’t even get into the team last season. Pep seems happy with him in the system. Happier than he is with Foden. So I’ll take that as him being good. Pep is all about the system and he seems happy with Grealish in it.
  15. I don’t think Harry Kane makes or breaks Spurs. They’re too rich. They will be a good manager hire and transfer window or two away from CL places for the next few years atleast.
  16. I wouldn’t argue strongly against it. He’s developed immensely. In his first season, he struggled badly. Pep persisted with the Gundogan x Rodri combo for 18 months and it didn’t work superbly until the very end of that time. And then for the last few years it’s just been immense. Gundogan is another one. He was rated at Dortmund and Germany but he wasn’t considered a Toni Kroos level elite talent. Or a Reus or Lewadowski. But he’s ended up arguably a better proponent of Pep ball than David Silva who I think was a more talented player.
  17. Confident his brother was giving them flirty eyes.
  18. The Chelsea contract will be massive I’m sure. That’s the key thing.
  19. Aye he was the best player in the country and joined his boyhood club who just finished 2nd. He would’ve thought with him, he could win it with us.
  20. I think clubs should be limited to 32 players over the age of 21. Anything more is excessive. Pay up their wages and let them go. We’d be close to that limit mind but we should let those lads go too.
  21. I think you might be right. He needs a proper agent.
  22. @Stottie Paqueta is more of a CM, a grafter and can play RW as a left footer. And generally more of a Pep style player.
