Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

Weirdest ones are SCL and the Villa striker being CMs until their late teens. I kind of see it for both though. Would’ve been uber athletes as late teenagers. Solid technically. -

There’s a clip of a teenage Michael Keane running amock as an attacker in a a game. It’s very rare for any top level player to start as a fullback. At a younger age level, these players just tend to be better than their peers so play further up. -
Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

He was at the league cup final tbf. If he believes in the project and the wages where good he might choose us. He’s not turning city down for us mind but most of the rest yh. -

I think Wharton lacks the legs and the bite. Wharton is better on the ball but I don’t think he can cover the wide ground Anderson can. Not as aggressive as well. I might be misprofiling Wharton but I think Anderson is better under pressure too. Got those quick feet. -
Is he incredibly good? There was a funny clip going around a few weeks back from a Spurs fan on a podcast. He pointed out that his passing is super basic and he’s always doing last ditch defending and not making it (hence the Isak leg break). Watched him yesterday and that’s exactly how he played.

Howe would love him. Bring Anderson hyem. Gray Anderson Miley - Brexit Howe’s boys will be unstoppable

He got -3 BPS for giving away the penalty. The other good stuff outweighed it I guess. He created 3 big chances, 8 key passes - plus the assist that got it done. Osula would’ve got it had he played 70 minutes or more as he scored the winning goal, completed a dribble etc. Not sure who else on our team would. Gordon was great but how do we quantify that ? -

Creates a lot of chances. He’s a BPS monster. -
Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season

I do hope he’s sold or loaned out for his own good. He’s so raw he needs to play for his down development . But happy he’s here now. -

As a lad you can tell he’s got a big personality and gives it his all. To the point he’s got ADHD energy about him. he’ll graft and not be afraid to try things. Only Barnes or maybe Gordon would’ve intentionally done what Osula did with that intention. Elanga has the ability to do it but it would be much more ‘off the cuff’ like his own Man U goal. -
Aye agree it’s the expectations and the fee. I like a lot of average players for us. Didn’t expect much in the first place. It’s the ones that were meant to be good and don’t scale heights I’m ambivalent or worse towards like a Scott Parker. It’s not his fault but it was clear he was not it talent wise from day 1. I’m so upset at the club for sanctioning the move - let alone the fee.
-
It’s revenue aye. And not as soon as Spurs went back up. I said it to Leffe and he didn’t believe. There’s issues coming from the owners/leadership at Spurs. It’s not just bad management. 2 solid years 3 managers of relegation shit.

VDV is incredibly over rated because he’s fast.
-
Must be confusing him with Bruno.
-
Aye if they play like this with 11 they’ll be fine going forward.
-
Holding us back from what?
-
They actually need Redknapp.
-
It’s a tragic side.

Looked threatening. Would like him to use his left more as he can do it. Thought the quality of cross was poor largely. But looked threatening.
