He’s having a poor season. He’s had more big performances in the latter stages of the CL than nearly all of those at 24. More CL goals and assists than the likes of Hazard or Mane already. Saying that He should play for Mbappe the way he did for Benzema. Mbappe is the better player.

For 70 minutes and up to 0-2 down as well. Needed that Lucas sub when the first went in. It is a team missing 3-4 players that would otherwise have started tbf. Ceballos would start ahead of Modric. Tchou. Carvajal. Militao.

Nah 68 points will almost guarantee 5th. Maybe even 66-67. I think 5th has needed less than 70 points in all but 1 season over the last 15 years. That was the most top 6 season ever. It was like top 6 over 66 points. The midtable is too strong for that to happen again.

Villa remind me a little of Liverpool when we finished 4th. They have the quality and depth to do it. They just have to be too good for too many games for it to be realistic. But we do need them to drop results asap. Funnily enough it was Villa’s Emery drawing with Liverpool that put the nail in the coffin and we did what we needed to do. I think we get the 68 points that we need. But I’d rather not need 3 points going into Arsenal and Everton.

Thought he was rapid at Leicester. Seems to have lost a yard. He's a better overall footballer than I gave him credit for when he joined. Actually using the overlapping LB has helped us so much. Gordon is so reluctant to drop that ball into the LB. Barnes has earned the shirt. Gordon can come off the bench when fit.

Aye - they shouldn't make it but need them out of the running asap. The points need to start getting dropped. Their game between PSG is a banker. If they beat us, they'll be right up for beating City next. Need their momentum to falter. And they've got genuine rotation options. And Palace are wicked away. Will have Guehi back. Best thing is we have a good record against Palace and they will be travelling a lot that week. Manchester then Newcastle.
