Sorry - meant points deduction. Transfermarkt & The Athletic are as good as you'll get for confirming fees imo. They have £20m. You have to figure Forest where in a FFP hole too. So whatever fee we gave them needed to cover Vlad's remaining amortisation cost. Anderson would cost a fee within the accounting period (don't know if it's the full 1/5 or not). And the the actual FFP hole too.

Bigger issue is tha he's not been great. Plenty of time mind.

Forest played a blinder, they signed a first-team player. Villa did a good swap deal with Chelsea too for the Dortmund fullback.

And we paid £20m for Vlad. Combining the deals makes sense. £35m for Anderson sounds impressive. £15m for Anderson + Vlad was a subpar deal then and even worse deal now. It got us over the June 2024 hump. Beleive he's on a 5-year deal. He's costing us in the region of £4-£7m per year. That's a lot for someone that never ever plays. I'm hoping he can turn his career around like Sels.

It's an accounting measure that predates PSR. The cost of academy's is already covered (and excluded from PSR correctly). The system works well for youngsters imo. Without PSR Anderson is probably sitting on our bench. Now he's really establishing himself as a good PL player.

One bad thing about the new format is it's difficult to understand the dynamics because of so many clubs. Celtic actually have a great chance of making the play-offs. The seeded play-offs means far less dead rubbers. That middle chunk want to finish as high as possible.
