Same. He's limited. In full confidence he's slightly better on the ball but it's his key weakness.

If we beat Everton… -
Defended well. piss poor on the ball as usual. is what it is.

People can’t take honest takes. he does look a bit slow. He’ll need to think fast In this league to compensate. Comparisons to Busquets, Pirloa and Iniesta… I mean ok. He’s more likely Granit Xhaka level and his lack of speed is a problem. Bruno has excellent ball control, good under pressure that’s great. But I was hoping for greater athleticism. He looks fairly fit and mobile. Just not quick. jonjo jo joe works well because 2 lads are extremely mobile and quick, Jo is v. strong for a midfielder and Shelvey can be strong in the tackle. i don’t think Bruno has the athleticism to play that Mezzalla role in the PL
-
Thought he looked slow but classy. Don't think he and Shelvey can play together. Way too slow.

Hate footballers being called greedy for wanting to earn the most money. every other profession and sport it’s perfectly fine. Salah is arguably the most devastating footballer in the world. He should be paid accordingly. he turns 30 in June. This is his last long term major contract most likely.
-
Needs to adapt to the pace and physicality. him and Shelley aren’t ideal for each other. Both lack a bit physically.
-
Don’t think that counts for HBA Nasri and Fabregas tbf. Each spent a lot of time outside the PL. You get Giggs, Milner, Barry, Vardy etc. having incredibly long careers at the top here. But I do think playing in Spain is better for players long term careers. A good few of that great Madrid Sadie have had extremely long careers. Ronaldo, Ramos, Modric, Pepe, Benzema. A spine of leaders that must take good care of themselves. I told a friend this week. Pepe would’ve been better for Man Utd than Varane. He’s got the minerals for it.

For the right players we should. Chelsea could fall. Man Utd are still poorly run. Arsenal making losses. woth smart and big investment we could be in the CL within 2 years. West Ham (and Everton and Villa) are paying players 150k. For the right players we need to compete with that.
-
I do agree HTT that West Ham could persuade him to stay rather than join us. Good chance they have euro football next year too and could still run deep in the cup this season. Maybe win it.
-
I thought Rice would be Chelsea bound but that won’t happen. There’s not much else competition for him. Man U perhaps. I do think if we move aggressively and quickly there’s a chance we land him. imo it doesn’t take much to get involved in 4-8 most seasons. 2-3 top class signings and we are right in the hunt.
-
What’s the point here?
-
Benzema, Nasri, Hatem & Fabregas all starred in that U17 tournament. Only Benz is still doing it at the very top.
-
Richarlison's attitude on the pitch hasn't always been there and he's technically limited. If we want a Brazilian wide forward, it's got to be Raphinha. With him and Rice, they go to a top club but if we move early and aggresively we can get them.
-
The target medium-term is the same. If we can get the right calibre of player to take us to the next level - we should go for them. Even if it's 5-6-7. The sooner we get into Europe and start competing - the better commercial deals we can get and justify. Agreed. Again right profile is everything. There's only 4 starting positions I wouldn't look to improve.
-
Needs to be replaced imo. Not a top 8 GK.
-
Crystal Palace rang wholesale changes and they’ve improved. I don’t see why we can’t get 5-6 for the fest team and 2-3 youngsters. We still need to add quality down the spine. I wouldn’t be mad if we bought either 2 new cb or 2 new cm making one of Lascelles or Longstaff surplus. Wolves and West Ham have been in the mix for a few seasons now. Good teams but nothing special. We can be around 7/8 next season and into European football if we are ambitious. I like how diligent our transfer approach has been so far. If the right players are available and want to come we should go and get them even if it’s 7 first teamers.
-
I wouldn’t want him starting next season. We should start to level up.
-
Somr quarters in the media. Micah Richards for one.
-
I read we could get 6 or so plus Targett. IMO GK 2x CB + Targett CM (would love Rice) Winger (would love Raphinha) ST And another quality player As a minimum. IMO we should target 7th. I'd keep GK - 2x backup Def - Manquillo, Tripper, Targett (15m option), Burn Mid - Bruno, Shelvey, Willock, Joelinton, ASM, Fraser. CF - Wood, Wilson Players like Almiron & Lascelles we shouldn't keep around unless they are great for the dressing room. If we could get Rice & Phillips i'd shift Shelvey too.
-
They’ve turned on Ralf pretty quickly tbf. deservedly so mind you.
-
Rashford and Alli are not comparable. I’d have Rashford over Hazard. realistically. Ryan Fraser shouldn’t be starting for us next season. I’d sign a winger and a forward next season.

I like him. He doesn’t have confidence in front of goal but I like his all round game. He gives defenders something to think about it. He’s pretty mobile, strong, good in the air, makes decent runs, presses etc. -
Better than Almiron.
