Not really given the players Carrick had ahead of him where as Henderson... He's had injuries in the last 4 years but even when fit he's been behind Henderson.
-
It's a crime that at 25 Jordan Henderson has more caps than Michael Carrick already.
-
Wijnaldum is feeling this. The absolute cunt.
-
Delighted.

What a fantastic player Robben has been. Been a major figure in European football for a decade. Whether it's due to scoring or missing he's been involved in massive moments for WC semis, finals, CL semis and finals. Has looked 55 for the last 10 years too.

Jesse Lingards career summarises a lot of what I dislike about English football. He's 25. Doubt he's made 100 senior appearances in the PL. Never had a long run of first team football. Yet somehow is always selected for England and shows no signs of actually wanting to play regular football.

And then Lascelles has arguably been our best performer in the team. Which obviously changes things. At this point Clark is the closest to losing his place - and it's not likely. If they both stay fit and perform it might be a while before we see this lad which is kind of disappointing in a way. -

Based on? -
Massive miss there.

Total pisstake. Southgate has nothing about him man. If you aren't at worst a genuine rotation option you should not be selected for England. No Lingard No Sturridge No Winks No AOC Lingard has played 75 minutes of PL football.
-
The American college system seems exploitative. Colleges make millions, players get scholarships and a pat on the back. No dough though.
-
I think more there was a collection of small individual mistakes culminating in the goal. As most goals are. Clark made the biggest gaffe in the whole game and it wasn't punished. The other lads made small mistakes imo and were punished.
-
Southgate is awful. Worse than Roy. We'll stink the World Cup up - group exit imo, R16 at best. If you don't play somewhat regularly - players shouldn't be selected. Ox and Lingard can fuck off.

Good article about what Jonjo has been doing for most of his Career by Zonalmarking.

Furious with Rafa tbh. So many injuries and omissions in the Ghana squad.
-
And a dribbler, close controller, tackler, headererer, and chest the ball downer. Shut the f*** up TCD Think he meant 'more' not 'not'. Aye. His passing is quick and often forward and he moves with the ball teemendously. But it's the other side I'm most impressed with.
-
Massive typo there by me. It's his other attributes that are MOST impressive. As I've mentioned in this thread - winning tackles and headers. Even when on the ball he's off for his standard he's everywhere winning the ball, winning headers.
-
He can pass it very well but it's his other attributes that are not impressive imo. He's a quick passer. A forward passer.
-
Winning tackles and headers. It's beautiful. Little Vurn could never. Even if he has a bit of an off day (for him) on the ball he's still such an asset to the team.
-
It's hilarious how people get worked up other that phrase.
-
I agree. I think he should be starting next to Shelvey or Diame in midfield personally. He's obviously pap but he's shown he can pass a ball on occasion. It's the taking forever to pass sideways, not being able to move, hiding from the ball and only impacting off the ball when making fouls which makes him so pap.
-
Colback is not bad technically. No Gini but I saw more from him in terms of passing range than an Anita.
-
Always pap away from home this lad.

Thought he was solid tbh. No complaints.
