Aye for another manager - strong performers like Lascelles, Yedlin, Clark, Shelvey and co could really struggle. Let alone Perez, Hayden, Manquillo and Joselu.
-
What makes Cisse goal so special is the angle and impossibility of it all.
-
Might as well get Perisic as well if we are going full on Newcastionale. shout tbh. I dunno why no one has bought Handanovic, massively underrated keeper imo. Inter have loads of money now and are a massive club in their own right. Always find it a bit weird when you go on about Icardi not getting a move elsewhere too because its not the 90s anymore? They haven't been good for absolutely ages Pot, meet kettle.

Rangers have ousted him, and have made steps to oust SD from the club. I also have no doubt that if he were to somehow buy them, then a large proportion of the Rangers fans would have no problem boycotting matches, and in the SPL attendances are more critical as a form of income. They are also more likely to be about some action. If it's been stress owning Newcastle, it'll be worse at Rangers. He'll see it as a bigger opportunity though. Yeah they'll be more aggressive than us, someone would do him in That's one thing that gets me. As a collective, we've been fairly docile under Ashley. Bigger clubs historically - Liverpool, Man Utd, Rangers would've had Ashley fearing for his life or mobilised to get him out better. You look at ourselves and to a degree Arsenal - we've been taken the piss of too easily

Get Ashley out. Someone with ambition and some money in and i'm delighted. Serious money? I don't even want to get that level of excited.

Didn’t say Hayden as #10. Simply he didn’t look terrible as th most advanced midfielder - which isn’t the same as a 10. Truthfully, Perez is the best option we have from the start. But he’s poor himself. So naturally depending on situations we need to look at alternatives. I wanna see Murphy have some time there. Diamé has shown in bursts he can be effective there too.
-
He along with Perez are clear weak links imo. Week in week out pretty poor imo. Joselu overall game has been poor in recent games.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Keith Andrews appointed at Brentford

Some managers just work well in certain situations. That Everton era was perfect for him. The club has moved on since then. -
Javier Manquillo (now playing for Celta de Vigo)

So erm... caught out of position? -
Still one of the best managers in the world. And unlike some doesn’t need vast sums to make a good side. Give Rafa another 60m and I reckon we could be a very tasty side.
-
Hayden as the most advanced CM didn’t look bad at all. When your #10’s best attribute is pressing the idea of a DM replacing his role doesn’t sound terrible if he can look dangerous.
-
Came on as a sub for Hayden a few games ago and was very good imo. When in the zone Diame has more about him than Hayden. Looks to do more on the ball and with his passing. But he’s also prone to being terrible too. Hayden gives you a consistent level of performance.

For some reason th entire tone of this post reads like a backhanded compliment. Find a lot of football fans find it difficult to change their opinion of a footballer. Reticent to give due credit.

Javier Manquillo (now playing for Celta de Vigo)

Rafa must not rate Mbemba at all. Manquillo is pretty poor defensively. -
Richarlison should have a goal, assist and MOTM bonus for my FF. he’s got a few goals and assists already without looking especially composed in front of goal.
-
i expected Ashley to be here another decade. Please. Please let this happen.
-
At the time of his leaving Bellamy was the best player at the club imo. He had improved. He left In January and still finished top scorer. The next season at Blackburn he got something like 16 league goals. Those 2 years were his peak imo. He still earned himself 2 Liverpool moves after that. I do think he and others held the club in contempt however and I don’t know why. Especially from Dyer. At least Bellamy went on to play his best football elsewhere.
-
At one point we expected success. Dude and co. were paid CL money, we expected CL performances. Now? We just want ambition.
-
Aye when he was here the CL was the target. Now? Our club should be challenging for top 6 - outside Chance of CL. As a club that’s where we should be. No I wouldn’t be happy finishing 8-12 long term. Everton’s league performance over the last decade is par for us imo. We should aim for Spurs. But in the short term I just want the ambition to be top 8, back the manger, give cups a real go. He’s not right but he’s not all the way wrong. We are one that the biggest clubs in England.
-
Actually rate him more now then I did. Since he's left Krul was better for about 18 months and that's it. He was way better than every other keeper we've had since he left for a consistent period of time.
-
We've been a joke of a club for 95% of Ashley's time here. Don't blame lads for leaving.
-
That Real game has permanently scared Jose. At the time Madrid were flying. Ronaldo banging them in, Ozil had joined. Arguably the most talented team Jose has ever managed, he tried to play Barca. Fucking battered.

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

He might be one of our worst players getting regular minutes. There’s nobody better than him mind on the books it seems.
