Who is Rocker and how reliable is he? How would he know Hypia (who only arrived back at Liverpool Airport from Athens at 4PM yesterday) is in toon?

Lagos eh? Helping or hindering the search? Suspect or witness? Always had my suspicions about him!

The electronic readers were in the turnstiles for Milburn Level 7 last season and as stated it is really the end of selling spare tickets to some random bloke in the pub beforehand and also the end of the turnstile operator. Apparently if you buy match to mact you will get a swipe card the first time and then get it activated for each game you pay for.

Don't really care. That 5 Times song should really be "We left at Half Time" not "We've won it 5 times" as loads of them did. Don't particularly want Craig Bellamy to win it though so i won't be upset if Milan win, but as always will be err towards the English team.

Yes we can and we must. He was happy enough to take his 30 pieces of silver and sign for Monkeys Heeds lot in 1997 so for me he is soiled goods. I was only joking about Clark but the Sunderland thing is a bit silly no? Is Shay soiled goods? What about Allardyce? Slight difference here, Lee Clark had the opportunities to go to other clubs in the premiership but CHOSE to drop down a division and sign for our most hated rivals after previously stating that he would rather rap in professional football and play non league for Gateshead if he couldn't play for Newcastle United. Shay Given was on loan at Sunderland and sense prevailed and he CHOSE to sign for Newcastle United. Got no time for Big Spiv ex mackem gobshite who would not have been appointed manager if i was chairman.

More fuel for his contract talks.

That confirmed? No, but my source says that the sponsorship money for it is unbeleivable and way too good to turn down.

Hold on - you saying the reason people were on Brambles back was because he was Black and/or a southerner? Nowt to do with the 5 error strewn years he spent here, and failure to improve? As for the southern thing, yeah - we do struggle to get behind/back non-geordie players, don't we?? - tell that to the likes of Rob Lee or Les Ferdinand! He is not saying that people were on Bramble's back because he was black and/or a southerner. People were on Bramble's back because he was s****. What he is saying is that people find it a lot harder to criticise someone who is equally s**** but happens to look like themselves and who is a local. Thank you for explaining, as what you say is correct. Oh, so you were inferring some kind of racism then, rather than a justified criticism??? No, i'm saying Bramble was a far easier taget for the boo boys than Alan Olivers favourite local lad who is always ready to speak to the Chronicle.

You haven't got a clue. Woodgate and Taylor played in the same team together once at Bolton and Taylor actually played at Right back and cost a goal.

No, i'm saying he gets away with the same amount of shite that Bramble has but is left alone because he is the local lad made good.

Definitely over rated. Looked good in the reserves, has potential but gets lost far too often and will have to eliminate the "rash" moments. Cost us the tie against Alkmaar but Titus was made the scapegoat while the "local lad" got away with it. I'd keep him, but certainly wouldn't let him hold us to ransom. He might make it but my bet is 5 years from now he'll be a decent Championship player. Definitely over rated. Your a Mackem in disguise or your off your rocker!! Taylor's obviously a bloody good defender who will get better and better. Our only good defender, he's come up through the youth system captaining at most levels and he's a Geordie who geniunely loves the TOON. Give him a new contract! He's not your average footballing mercenery and he looks like he could be geniune class! He's a tool and if he was black and came from south of Gateshead he'd have gotten the same dogs abuse that Bramble got because he is no better and gives away loads of sill free kicks.
-
Yes, he was rumoured to be nailed on to be at Pompey next season.
-
He has failed to carry that out for 90 minutes regularly under 3 different 'management styles' now. You can argue about Souness and Roeder management styles, but even a pair of former centre halfs (Roeder and Pearson) couldn't help him cut out the lapses and mistakes. Perhaps Allardyce has seen enough in the past to realsie that after 5 years and 3 differnet management teams, the lad just cannot get rid of the mistakes. If this exercise was purely about scoring popularity points though, surely he'd have Transfer listed Carr, Babyaro and Dyer as well! They're under contract though, Bramble wasn't. Players tend not to get transfer listed these days while under contract and clubs/players rely on agents to sort them a move instead.
-
FFS Bramble had his chance, he's shi*e He is better than what we are left with and if Allardyke is as good a man manager/motivator as he is being bigged up to be why shouldn't we think he could have got the best out of him? Should have been given a 12 month contract imo.

Bramble
-
I happen to think that they are spot on in that article. No way was Allardyke responsible for releasing those players and due to our worefully thin squad i think the offer of a 12 month contract to Bramble would have been justified bearing in mind that the centre halves we have on our books now consist of Steven "2 Pools" Taylor (who makes a lot of fuck ups as well), Peter "Damage to some" Ramage ( who gets slated here there and everywhere), Paul "Does my bum look big in this" Huntington and David " I scored against man Utd you know" Edgar. We're hardly brimming with talented, experienced centre backs are we?
-
Is Owen bigger than Newcastle United? Probably, yes.
-
Retard Being a scope I take offence to that! Whats a scope?
-
Freddy Shepherd. Not directly.
-
Far rather have Jewell than Allardyce. Fingers crossed.
