David Kelly was applauded onto the St James's park Picth by all 4 corners of the ground while playing for Sunderland (with no away fans allowed).

Give me strength. Do you know anything about the club you supports history? You'll be asking who Jackie Milburn and Joe Harvey were next.
-
Very good in the air for a man of his height and is fondly remembered by most NUFC fans. Unfortunately this glosses over the fact that he couldn't hit a barn door when it really really mattered in the 2nd half of the 95/96 season.
-
Well it shouldn't be because of the club. I took the photos myself and there was nothing anywhere to indicate that I shouldn't take them. If they don't want people taking photos then they should put up signs and make people aware of this. I've never seen anything in all the years I've been going. I think you'll find if you read the club rules and regulations you aren't actually allowed to take photographs inside the ground.

Bring it back. I'm a traditionalist me like.

In the past at NUFC the "Source" (or club insider as the Chronicle usually referred to him as) was FFS Mates the car dealer from Whitley Bay pretty much telling the press what FFS wanted them to know. These days who knows? FFS still has some insider knowledge surprisingly as Skunkers usually accurate source heard from his son about TCA getting the boot before the press did (at approx 3.30 on wednesday).
-
Didn't he lose his source due to the board changes? I remember him saying that. His source got peddled yes, but still knew Allaryce was sacked long before it was reported today.
-
Skunkers rarely wrong Source that said FFS wanted Allardyce before Roeder was sacked says Mark Hughes

Barton is actually up 3 times which is why he was refused bail in the first place. He was on bail for an incident with a Liverpool taxi driver as well as the man City training ground thing when the latest incident occurred. He's bad news and should not even have been out never mind out till 0530 seeing as we had a game 72 hours later.
-
Could well be. I still don't think he's good enough though. Barton? I don't think he's good enough either and is no use to anyone holed up at the Sporting Chance Clinic. I don't think Nolan is particularly impressive either, a grafter perhaps, but he isn't a top class midfielder but is of course the type of player that TCA loves.

The Wheatsheaf Ground near the Airport. Kingston Park Or where John Hall wanted us to move to and ground share with Sunderland : Lamsley

Biggest weaknesses for me are his lack of a right foot and his dodgy temprement. He is far too easily unsettled and wound up by the opposition and when unsettled in this way generally plays shite and for himself rather than the team leading to silly bookings and free kicks for the opposition. And of course, lets not forget he can't through the ball in as far as Geremi either!

We didn't seem to get motivated at all against the most succesful team this country has ever produced.

What about on LW?
-
It's a traditional thing. All Toon players become better players after spells of absence. If we keep Emre out for a few more weeks, he'll be as good as Elano by the end of Jan. Aye it certainly worked for Marcelino mind.
-
The only way he can win me over is to hold his hands up and admit that we have been playing shit negative football at his behest and that he agrees it is shit and wants to put an end to it by quitting now and refusing to take any compensation package at all.
-
TCA will probably play him at centre half though.
-
Get him out the door and get some cash back? My preferred usage. He's gash.

Smith was better than martins today. Martins was f****** s*** and looked to be in the huff in the first half when he couldn't be bothered to move his arse. What did Smith do that was good, seriously? Martins wasn't very good, but he did put a few crosses in from the right, had a header cleared off the line and got behind their defence once or twice (only to fuck it up admittedly, but still..) Created the first goal for Viduka with his persistance and never say die attitude something that Martins sorely lacks along with a first touch and awareness of what goes on around him and desire to work for the team wherever he is asked.

You don't get decent results by playing shit football. We need to start performing well and then the results will follow
