I seem to recall Robert being dropped by SBR and replaced in some games by Hugo Vianna and/or Olivier Bernard without much complaint from the fans either.

He needs to keep his gob shut mind.

Without defending or attacking Pardew here, 2 things stand out from that. 1. Tevez had gone 13 games without scoring and is wondering why he was hooked. 2. Tevez sounds very self self self in that as well saying he was upset at having to sacrifice his own glory for the good of the team. Tevez's subsequent hissy fits while playing for both Man Utd and Man City don't make him a good player to quote when looking to criticise Pardew. Just saying like!

Given it is on the edge of the mostly densely populated jewish community outside Israel that's probably true although there is already saltwell park and also parks at the jewish schools on Alexandra road.

Him and Defalulu were falling down as soon as anyone went near them. -

Aye, Distin was left back in the 2nd half and Baines was usually in our half playing left wing not arsed in the slightest about any threat from our right. Anyhow, I thought last night was a better game and better performance than Saturday despite the widely different results. Our full backs were rank mind, as was De Jong and Goofy. -
I know he isn't a full back, but he was woeful last night and at fault for the 1st 2 goals, weak as piss challenge after our corner and then played defalulu(sic) onside for the 2nd by being yards behind the rest of the back 4. Dummett was equally as gash on the other side mind, ponderous.

Looked slim last night mind.

Billingham is Boro though, he'll more likely disallow something that should stand for us. -

Fairly surprised since Palace was sold out. Guess it is a weeknight. The 2 turnstiles are Leazes Level 7 so guess Everton won't have as many up as Palace did on Saturday. Wait. There aren't 70000 Everton fans coming? Rolls Eyes Smiley thingy. They're usually quite well supported up here and i'd expect them to have about 2K minimum usually, perhaps not tonight? -

My worry about him starting when not really anywhere near 100% fit is him getting injured again and being out for another month. better to ease him in as a sub.

It did as I commented on it straight away to the kid next to me who agreed they'd blanked him as well. he then complained to carver about it.

Nee idea, I was very surprised when it was announced as we rarely ever play at home on a Tuesday and certainly not in the league. -
It was quite evident when they were blanking him and refusing to pass to him on Saturday mind.

It's actually part of the ring road system and is quite busy most days to be honest. -
Was shocked when he was flagged offside by just how far into the game it was that it happened. Probably wrong, but seemed like it was only the once as well. Felt weird. Just the once today, honestly thought his goal was going to be blown but he held the line well, I'm shocked! Aye, I paused looking at the linesman when we scored thinking he had to be offside but it never came thankfully.

Any truth in any of that or just bitterness? Bitterness, totally ignoring the blatant penalty for handball we weren't given in the 1st half. They were time wasting from the 1st minute so deserved to get done in injury time. -

Alright, just couldn't break them down. Then eventually we did. Aye, I thought the 1st half was quite open and the second they tried to shut up shop and we did okay trying to break them down and eventually got the goal we deserved. -
He missed one chance, the others were well saved by the keeper.
-
Once in the 2nd half I think. Remy is the most offside player in the PL this season btw.
-
I thought he was excellent today. Very unlucky not to have had a hat trick and it was good saves not bad misses as well.
-
I was going to say that as well it did seem like people were avoiding passing to him. Thought I was imagining that. You didn't imagine it, at times he looked half arsed and not fit but at that moment he was looking for the ball and no one passed to him. I think carver then told him to go looking for it as he went in the middle more and made it hard for people to ignore him and he made a couple of runs with the ball but didn't pass to anyone himself!
-
He had zero impact at all today, very poor.
