  1. Yeah but if we are doing well in the league and you get a last minute winner and only a give a 'meh', you are hardly happy with the way things are going in the league. Results went our way this weekend with Everton and Southampton both dropping points and i think it's only natural to want to finish higher than them even if it doesn't make a huge difference. Absolutely clueless . If you can't get yourself excited and jubilant over a last minute goal, you should look elsewhere for your entertainment. Doesn't matter if you are bottom of the league in the conference or 9th in the premier league or even playing Sunday league football, a 90th minute winner is simply euphoric. I agree.
  2. He was shocking for 80 minutes mind. Played well in the last 10 though.

He played well I thought and I didn't think he should have been the one to come off for De Jong. played Right Wing for most of the game yet when De Jong comes on he plays up front, why didn't he play Cisse up front?? And he was unlucky with that miss as the ball bobbled just as he as about to shoot.
  4. Beyes a bottle job, shouldn't be anywhere near that team.
  5. It's more everything I know about him from living there for 5 years. If you want to make it at Real Madrid you don't act anything like he did. He'll regret it when his career's up and he looks at what he's actually achieved compared to what he should have. You wouldn't see Colo injure himself pissed up and coked up in Ibiza. Anyhow, Steve Howey, Philippe Albert and Darren Peacock say hello.
  6. Vurnon Anita at Nando's Metrocentre right now with wife and child.
  7. Oh Yes, I hate the bastards and hope we fucking hammer them.
  8. LOL That's what I thought as well. I wouldn't wipe my arse with the Daily Star and NUFC hold them in higher regard than the sunday express.
  9. Yip, did the same with England, embarrassed David Beckham iirc.
  10. Yip I think people are over looking the fact that The Journal and Chronicle are banned by the club so can't speak to the manager or the players.
  11. Because he's damaged goods who's desperate for a job.
  12. give over. he's an ultra cautious protect what you've got type manager who lambasts players for not being as technically gifted as he was.
  13. Is he better than Gouffran ? Yes. He wasn't on Wednesday and he hasn't been consistently this season either. he's a flat track bully, his best games have been against poorer teams and he's not really turned up against the better ones.
  14. Would we be happy to see a season ending injury? OR do we still love him? World Cup Dream ending injury pour moi S'Il Vous Plait.
  15. I think you've got a selective memory there mind. We didn't open up and hammer teams in the championship properly under CH until promotion was all but assured. We'd been a lot more cautious previously.
  16. There was no pardew give us a wave chant last night, mind there wasn't really any chants at all last night to be fair. If Colo and Tiote are back in the side we have a chance of a win.
  17. It was slow, laboured and aimless in the main. Spurs were quick and slick with lots of movement and won the ball back off us very easily. Spurs corners got on my nerves. We kept everyone back inside our own 18 yard box for every corner so when we did clear the ball it just came straight back at us. Leave someone on the halfwayline to occupy their defenders and at least mean there is someone to aim at when the corner is cleared.

    Papiss Cissé

Which one looked more likely to score yesterday? Cisse
  19. And the pace of the game seems too much for him at the minute.

de jong looks like he has a decent touch but is way too weak and slow for this league and by slow I mean reaction time to things happening ie slow in the mind not the foot.
  21. Windy The ground used to have a safety certificate up to 65MPH winds iirc. There's an Amber warning in place up until 9PM for gusts up to about 50MPH. It's horrible out there but I don't think it's enough to prevent it going ahead.
  22. Absolutely lashing down again now as well. Late Postponement Please!!!! Where are you? Seems fine where I am. office block in the city centre.
  23. Absolutely lashing down again now as well. Late Postponement Please!!!! I'd rather not have Remy missing for Villa, like. We'll have more players back from injury then though. Floodlights have just went on now so it's either on or the refs having a look.
