https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/5Or9JWnUZU Lost of transfers ranked. Ramsay and Thiaw much higher than expected, Wissa in tatters. Elanga a bit too high on the list thanks to a brave in the camp nou.
-
He's a solid pickup imo. Would be a perfectly fine signing.
-
Wonder if we still sniffing about minguiza on a free
-
Just read hull have a transfer ban til Jan 27? Keeping them up will be a miracle. 😂 Hope they sign ASM on a free so we can see him again.
-
It's the way imo. Give Howe a pile of good characters with a point to prove.
-
Can't recall one. Might have biomechanics issues post injury.
-
Remember when we dreamed of him coming here centuries ago.
-
31 year old, left footed right winger. Premier league proven. Run the fucking bath. 🛁
-
He's always been a finisher though. Never was going to create. Selling him would be catastrophic imo. But he's been treated like shit, so if I was him I'd be off asap.
-
The old guard. Murphy, Burn, Joelinton, pope, schar, trips. Not bad players but definitely on the downturn. Gordon and Tonali too but they are outgrowing the club or have heads turned. Bruno is the outlier. Full buy in and heads not turned. Yet.
-
It's as bad as the bowyer window. Probably worse.
-
Totally depends on the summer business and weather Howe can drop his favourites and find new ones. His old guard are past it for the most part and the new lot don't look to have buy in.
-
Same as half the squad.
-
Willock thought he'd made it after the loan spell and lost his fire.
-
That's Eddie. Read that Bournemouth thread. It's all there.
-
Because they were the catalyst before. He trusts them. He wants to recreate the underdog spirit but he can't because the balance of the squad has skewed and he doesn't have everything pulling together.
-
"I think we are in the same territory as we were in the first championship season, where Eddie trusted the players because he believed he knew what they were capable of in the future. He believed he knew that the system would work, given time. His dream. His vision. His passion. It worked before, why? Because it was new territory for many of them. They were growing and learning together as a team and a squad. Players who (mostly) never thought they would be this successful, this good in a team. And they were trusted. Trusted if they made mistakes. This season 9 players have played in 20 games or more, but too many haven’t grown together. Too many have been established, successful, wealthy beyond their dreams. Half an eye of the next club rather than 100% focussed on the future here." ----------------------------------- From that Bournemouth forum. That 100% captures everything. We've gone from the likes of Murphy, Lascelles, a much ignored swiss cb, joelinton branded a failure - a bunch of lads, a team with a point to prove to a stack of kids who've already made it and seeing us as a stepping stone. Howe needs limited players with points to prove imo. He needs players who'll run themselves into the ground for the team. Something our transfer strategy hasn't provided.

"Rank amateur tactics again today and precious little done to change it when everyone could see Mooy had slipped into a hole to run the game He desperately needs someone in his backroom team with more talent to help him refresh ideas. Our current playlist is old favourites that are flat tunes" Uh oh. Sounds familiar that 😂

Not a good look for Eddie. Tools downed all over.
-
Get yourself up to Celtic Eddie lad.
-
He's old for a pace winger. It was inevitable. Great servant like. Respect for making the most of his skills. Best rat feeder in history.
-
Bye little Joe. You were magic, today was tragic.
-
Was very bad today. But out of position and asked to do a role that did not play to his strengths.
-
He made the team selection the knacker. There was easily a less insane option unless the fitness metrics were fucked on some of the lads.
-
Wissa matter you? Hey! Gotta no respect What-a you t'ink you do? Why you look-a so fat? It's-a not so bad, it's-a [transition season] Ah shaddap-a you face!
